Description: A) Dress of navy blue wool jersey knit. Long, dolman sleeves. Jewel neckline. Street length; princess seams. Center back zipper with hook & eye. Large patch pockets at left and right seams. Lined in navy silk. Designer's label at left seam of lining near hem: "Norman Norell / New York" Cleaning instructions label at center front neckline: "Care Instructions / Professionally / Dry Clean Only" B) Sash style belt of matching fabric. Rectangular, 2" x 108". Tubular construction with open ends. Attaches to back of dress.

Description: Dress of navy blue wool jersey. a) Day dress of navy wool jersey. White linen detachable collar connects to neckline with snaps. Below knee length with A-line skirt. White linen 7/8" bias strip at edge of center front opening that extends 7 1/2" below waist. Thirteen 3/4" pearl buttons with gold edge and bound buttonholes; buttons separate at waistline to accommodate belt. Long sleeves with 1-3/4" slit at seam. 3" deep pleat in skirt at side front and back. Concealed slit pockets in side seams. Unlined. Designer's label on inside left seam: "Norman Norell / New York" b) Belt of 3" wide white patent leather, slightly curved, with large circular gold buckle. Not original to garment. Evidence of small cords at side seams, which Norell usually used to attach cloth belts, or thin belt-loops. This belt would not have fit. Retailer's stamp on reverse: "I Magnin / 30 Calderon 5938"

Description: Red silk taffeta dress with print of white line/dashes. A) Cocktail dress of red silk taffeta print. The print is of short white lines/dashes, scattered over the entire garment. Short sleeves, collar with rounded "points". Dropped waist, with a wide panel of same fabric with vertical stitching between bodice and skirt. "Tiered" skirt, with a flounce of same material gathered at bottom of dropped waist and continuing to about knee-level. Skirt gathered at dropped waist, under the flounce. Center front opening with 5 small circular self-covered buttons. Zipper at left side from under arm to dropped waist. Unlined. Inner ivory grosgrain belt/petersham with single hook and eye at left side. Seam where flounce joins skirt reinforced on interior with horsehair band. Combined designer's/retailer's label sewn in skirt: "Neiman-Marcus Dallas / Traina-Norell" B) Thin belt of cream leather covered in matching fabric. Rectangular buckle covered in same fabric. No marks on belt.

Hem of sleeves are coming undone. Jewel neckline. Button closure at center back with six navy plastic buttons. Unlined. Size 12. B) Three inch wide belt of self fabric with self fabric buckle. Belt sits above waistline. Designer label: "Neiman-Marcus Dallas / Traina Norell".

Upper portion of dress lined in ivory silk crepe. Retailer label at left inside seam near hem: "Neiman-Marcus"

Waist-length box jacket, with modified mandarin collar, asymmetrical front opening/closure beginning with a button just below center throat, then curving to left, and then down on left front, with a total of five large circular ivory-colored plastic buttons, and a single hidden snap at upper right. Sleeveless. Single patch pocket at right side. Neckline, opening, and top edge of pocket edged with off-white band. Lined in cream cotton(?). No label in jacket. B) Skirt. Street-length, A-line, with darts to the wide waistband. Left fastening, with three hooks and loops at waistband and zipper below. Unlined. Designer's label: "Traina-Norell / New York"

Peter Pan collar with ties, short slightly puffed "baby doll" sleeve. Pleated bodice. Center front opening with 6 small circular domed buttons covered in cream fabric. Full A-line skirt, below-knee length, gathered/pleated at waistband. Entire dress with thin vertical printed bands of pink and green running roses. Inner skirt of heavy tulle/net with horizontal bands of horsehair stiffening. Size 12 Combined Retailer's / Designer's label inside inner skirt: "Neiman-Marcus Dallas / Traina Norell" B) Belt of cream textured leather covered with matching fabric. Square belt buckle covered in cream fabric. Belt stamped on reverse "28 1/2".
