The wide brim has a shallow curve downwards, and is edged with a wide band of off-white twill. The crown of the hat is unlined; the underside of the brim has concentric bands of off-white twill. The inner hatband is of black grosgrain ribbon. Designer's label: "Mae Kelley / Exclusive Hand Made Hats / Whittier, Calif."
