Description: Hat of purple felt. Designed to appear as a beret, the hat has a low crown, folded and somewhat crushed, with parts extending out as a brim in front and a "wing" at side. No real brim, but the extensions of the crown simulate one. Curled around the "wing" is a band of metallic thread and beading braid. Unlined. With purple grosgrain inner hatband, and a black elastic cord to help secure hat to wearer's head. Maker's label: "Parkridge / Exclusives"

Description: Ballgown of pink chiffon. Fitted, boned empire bodice with V-shaped neckline and double spaghetti straps. The bodice is constructed of diagonally pleated pink silk chiffon that crisscrosses over the bust. Center back zipper closure from neck to hip line with a single hook & eye at the neckline supplemented with a hook & loop mid-back and one at the waist seam. Empire waist with full, gathered, circular, ankle-length over skirt of pink crepe chiffon. Semi-fitted underskirt of pink chiffon over pink silk crepe. Wide, boned, white silk/nylon petersham secured down center back with four hook & eyes. Retailer's label at knee-level of underskirt's center back seam: "Neiman-Marcus"

Description: Day dress of printed cotton, brown on white, with black "spots" in a very tiny geometric pattern. Just below knee length. Double collar and cuffs with white cotton(?) button-in, detachable panels. Short sleeves, pleated into hems. V-neckline below collar, which has lower placket opening with three circular black buttons and bound buttonholes, and one hook-and-loop at waist, inner petersham with hooks and eyes, and series of 4 hidden snaps at center front of skirt. Natural waist, into which bodice and skirt are pleated. Full skirt. Lined in ivory organza/organdy. Designer's label at inside left seam of skirt: "Mollie Parnis / New York" Union label near designer's label. Size label at inside of skirt opening: "Size 10" With accompanying belt of black patent leather; 2" wide with square buckle.

Description: Short cocktail or informal dinner ensemble of green silk brocade with woven design in tiny gray/blue floral pattern. The fitted short jacket has a natural waistline slightly gathered at front, princess seams front and back, and cap sleeves. V-back, with open throat neck-line. Round collar trimmed with brown mink fur. 3/4 length dolman sleeves, 5 self-covered buttons at center front. Green faille lining. No labels in jacket. The dress of the same fabric is mid-calf length, and has a square neckline with small V cut in front and tucks at corners of square, back neckline V that matches front V. Short cap sleeves with underarm rectangular gusset. Three small pleats at left and right of natural waistline. Center back zipper with hook and eye closure. Lined as jacket. Retailer's label at left inside seam inside skirt: "Neiman-Marcus" Retailer's label that acts as "modesty weight" at center front inside of neckline, 4 inches long: "Neiman Marcus" The dress has a belt covered in same fabric, lined with leather.

Description: Evening dress of layered green chiffon. The full-length dress has an empire waistline, a high rounded jewel neckline, and long sleeves with zippered cuffs. The dress is composed of a top layer of chiffon with gold metallic thread embroidered dots/circles, the bodice and sleeves with further embellishment of scattered rosettes of gold beads and sequins, and single sequins. The waist is ornamented with bands of gold beads (spherical and wheat), and sequins spreading from waist upwards. The dress has an under-layer of heavy green silk crepe. from bust to hem. Center back zipper with hook & eye on bodice and 2 snaps on chiffon below bodice. Designer's label at center back seam of lining below zipper: "Mollie Parnis / New York"

Description: Evening dress of pink silk crepe. Full length tubular skirt with gathered natural waist seam and matching, attached, 3"wide, flat belt. The belt front is accented with a large five loop bow centered with a looped rosette cluster and is secured at center back opening with four hook & bars. Draped, sleeveless, side-less, tunic-style over bodice of same with open rounded neckline. The over bodice shapes over the bust with soft folds. Fitted, boned inner bodice of pink silk crepe with flesh colored spaghetti straps. Inner bodice and over bodice have separate center back zipper closures from mid-back to the waist with a single hook & loop/hook & eye at the neckline. The skirt is slit at center front from the hem to knee-level. Piece lined in pink silk. Wide, boned, white nylon tulle waist stay with center back closure. Description: Heeled evening slippers or pumps of peach satin. Designed with pointed toe, the plain uppers have a simple seam/stitch along squared edge of vamp which runs horizontally to meet the sole near heel. This seam gives a "two-tone" effect to the satin as the light hits it. The 2 1/4" high modified French heel is covered with the same satin.
