Description: Ensemble of off-white heavy weight linen with hand embroidery. A) Blouse with bateau neckline and embroidered in large, stemmed pink flowers. Sleeveless. Fitted with darts at bust. Attached belt of self fabric wraps around back waist from front right seam and snaps under a self-knotted section at left front seam. Hem is just below waist. Size label in lower zipper seam. B) Skirt of linen with 1'' waistband and box pleat panel at center front forming an A-line. Two darts at back and front; mid-length. Center back zipper closure with hook & eyes on waistband. Fully lined in off-white organza. Designer's label at center back seam: "Christian Dior - New York Inc." Retailer's label at center back seam: "Neiman-Marcus"

Description: Ensemble of green silk faille. Over-bodice. Short, cropped top with wide, rounded neckline. The short, set-in sleeves are open along the entire top, each sleeve with 3 sets of 4 paired eyelets which are laced with three ties per sleeve. Center back zipper opens from bottom, not opening all the way to back neckline. Designer's label at right side seam: "Christian Dior - New York Inc." Dress. Below-knee length, with wide rounded neckline. Sleeveless, with fitted bodice. Slightly raised waist(?), into which the full skirt is gathered and pleated. Center back zipper with hook & eye at neckline, and hook and loop at waist. Unlined. Designer's label at inside back below zipper: "Christian Dior New York, Inc." Retailer's label at inside back below zipper: "Neiman-Marcus" Center back zipper with hook & eye at neckline and hook & loop at waist. Belt for dress, narrow, of green leather faced with green silk faille matching dress and overbodice. Single loop, and 3-snap catch. Stamped on reverse: "8 Christian Dior / New York"

Description: Skirt suit of gold silk with slub yarns. A) Short jacket. Collarless, with rounded neckline. Single breasted with closure of three large buttons and bound buttonholes. Two vertical, single-welt chest pockets. Three-quarter length, two-piece sleeves. Lined in matching gold silk. Designer's label at inside right seam near opening: "Christian Dior-New York Inc." Retailer's label at center back neckline: "Neiman-Marcus" B) Skirt, knee-length and slightly A-lined. 1" waistband and two front vertical welt side pockets. Four back darts, and center back zipper with hook & eye on waistband. Lined in beige organdy.

Description: Hat of black felt wool felt. Possibly for riding, the hat has a cylindrical crown 2" high, slightly domed at top. Encircling the base of the crown is a narrow band of black suede, tied at side. The narrow brim is of the same black felt. material. From sides and back of hat hang a panel of black jersey to protect the wearer's neck from sun. The panel is cut to create extending ties at sides, which secure under wearer's chin. Unlined, with a black grosgrain ribbon inner headband. Designer's label sewn to back headband: "Clover Lane" Stamped inside front of crown: "[coat of arms] / Glenover / Faurn(?) To(?) / Felt / (illegible) / New York / 100% Wool"

Description: Dress of silk knit with abstract floral design of large pink flowers with green centers. Sleeveless, with wide straps and scooped neckline. Empire waist with darts for fit. Street length. Attached belt of 2" pink velvet ribbon forms a bow at left which closes with two hook & eyes. Center back zipper. Lined in cream organdy(?) with cream acetate inner lining. Designer's label at center back neckline: "Pattullo - Jo Copeland" Retailer's label at left side seam: "Bonwit Teller" Size tag and union label at right hemline.

Description: Pair of reddish-pink or coral silk satin evening pumps. Square toe shoes which have a large open area on the vamp which is backed by clear plastic and edged by braid. The plastic is overlaid with a metal net or chain mail with rhinestones at the intersections. 2 1/4" square heel covered with same material. Lined in off-white/gray leather. Stamped inside each shoe: "Made in Italy / Espressly / For / Lou Lattimore" (Espressly rather than Expressly); and "Creation Mancini / Paris / Waltea made in Italy" Stamped on sole of each shoe: "8"

Description: Maxi paper bridesmaid dress of Reemay spun polyester "paper". The long dress is printed with a pattern of impressionistic flowers in greens, pink, blues and purples on a yellow ground. It has a high, rounded neckline with no collar, and opens with a zipper at center back from collar to just above waist. The long, fitted sleeves have a thin band at cuff which extends to be tied into a bow. Empire waistline, from which extend box pleats. The dress appears to have a full, floor-length skirt, but the skirt is actually divided, forming pant legs. No designer labels in garment, but original tag is preserved with it: Obverse: "'Wear-a-while'* / Fashions / with / Reemay [trademark symbol] / Du Pont's Fabulous / New 100% Spun Bonded Polyester / DuPont Reemay brings an entirely new quality to 'conven- / ience fashions'. Description: Hat of jersey and multicolored yarn. The hat is styled to resemble of turban, with central cylindrical white jersey(?) crown, the sides of which are overlaid with interlaced bands of yellow/brown, blue/gray, red, and white yarn with thin bands of gold ribbon. Lined in white satin, with inner off-white grosgrain ribbon inner hatband.
