Description: Skirt-suit of navy blue wool. A) Jcket. Cropped, fitted jacket with v-neckline and center-front opening with 5 self-covered circular buttons with bound buttonholes and two hidden snaps. Long sleeves, each with two self-covered buttons and bound buttonholes, and two hidden snaps. Lined in navy blue silk, and with internal shoulder pads. Combined Designer's/Retailer's label: "Neiman-Marcus Dallas / Traina-Norell" B) Skirt. Street-length flared skirt of 10 gores, with narrow waistband, left side zipper with two hook-and-eyes in waistband. Lined in navy blue silk.

Description: Burgundy wool two-piece suit. A) Jacket of burgundy wool with notched shawl collar and long sleeves. Double-breasted with six plastic, black circular buttons at front in two rows of three and three bound buttonholes; large covered snap on inside neckline. Princess seaming. Each sleeve with a line of six buttons at cuff and bound buttonholes. Fully lined in burgundy fabric. Designer's label at center back neckline: "Norell" B) Skirt of same heavy burgundy wool with slight gathers into waistband. Above the knee length; A-line. Slit pocket on each side. Left side zipper closure hidden within pocket and concealed by three hook-and-eyes at top of pocket and four hook-and-eyes in waistband. Lined in burgundy fabric. Designer's label at center back: "Norman Norell / New York" Care label on side seam near zipper: "Do Not Use / Steam Iron" "Front" label to mark front of skirt

Description: Skirt suit. A) Jacket of black boucle wool. Long, set-in sleeves with hem edged in black satin. Turn-back collar, black satin revers. Four front patch pockets with flaps trimmed in black satin and one circular black satin-covered button on each pocket. Lined in black silk satin. Combined designer's/retailer's label at inside back collar: "Neiman-Marcus Dallas / Traina-Norell" B) Blouse of black satin. Piped around jewel neckline and sleeveless armholes. 2" waistband ties at left side. Zipper closure from hem partway up left side. Center back opening with 2 hook & loops. Unlined. Six elastic loops around hem to attach to skirt. No labels in blouse. C) Skirt of black boucle wool. Mid-length; 4 gored with two zippers at waist creating a "front flap" which also secures with two tabs at waistband, each tab secured with two hook-and-eyes. Four buttons at waistband which secure to loops on hem of blouse. Lined in black silk. No labels found in skirt.

Closure reinforced with 3 large covered snaps. Princess seaming. Bracelet length sleeves with 2 smaller matching, functioning buttons and bound buttonholes. Collar has squared corners. Side flap pockets. Collar, opening, sleeves and pockets trimmed in black binding. Lined in matching silk with weighted hem. Designer's label at center back neckline: "Norman Norell / New York" b) Skirt in matching chocolate brown wool. A-line with 1" waistband. Knee length. Left side zipper hidden inside slit pocket with two large hook & eyes on waistband. Lined in matching silk. Lining of side slit pockets are weighted.

Description: Skirt suit of navy blue double knit wool. a) Jacket of navy blue double knit wool. Shawl collar, full-length sleeves with functioning button on each sleeve. Center front opening which secures with attached 3" belt of self with two matching buttons. Four front patch pockets, each securing with single matching button. All buttons are smooth, circular mother-of-pearl buttons set in gold tone mounts and all buttonholes are bound. Cream silk(?) lining. Designer's label at inside left: "Norell" Retailer's label at inside back collar: "Nan Duskin / Philadelphia" b) Skirt of same material. 3/4 length. A-line which gathers slightly into 2-1/2" wide waistband. Left side zipper with hook-and-loop at waistband. Lined in dark blue nylon(?). Combined Designer's/Retailer's label sewn to inside of outer layer of skirt, hidden beneath lining layer: "Norman Norell for Nan Duskin" Maker's label, handwritten cream ribbon, sewn inside lining: "3055 - 711 - 14 - 136"

Center back closure with 8 circular brown plastic buttons and bound buttonholes.Two large patch pockets at sides below waist. Bodice lined in ivory silk. Designer's label at inside left seam near hem: "Traina-Norell / New York" B) Half belt of same fabric. Rounded, open ends of belt buttons onto front left and right sides of dress with two matching brown circular plastic buttons and bound buttonholes.

Four inches wide with two circular self covered button and bound buttonholes off center to left. Sits low on hips.

Description: Hatlet of black straw, net, and velvet. The hatlet is based on a metal underframe shaped as an open circle, wrapped, on which are set six black straw pompom forms set in a circle about 6" in diameter. At center of circle is a bow of narrow black velvet ribbon with 4 extending trailing ribbons. The whole is set on a circular veil of black mesh net. Designer's label: "Norman-Pualvin / New York".
