Description: Ensemble of green silk faille. Over-bodice. Short, cropped top with wide, rounded neckline. The short, set-in sleeves are open along the entire top, each sleeve with 3 sets of 4 paired eyelets which are laced with three ties per sleeve. Center back zipper opens from bottom, not opening all the way to back neckline. Designer's label at right side seam: "Christian Dior - New York Inc." Dress. Below-knee length, with wide rounded neckline. Sleeveless, with fitted bodice. Slightly raised waist(?), into which the full skirt is gathered and pleated. Center back zipper with hook & eye at neckline, and hook and loop at waist. Unlined. Designer's label at inside back below zipper: "Christian Dior New York, Inc." Retailer's label at inside back below zipper: "Neiman-Marcus" Center back zipper with hook & eye at neckline and hook & loop at waist. Description: Hat of black felt wool felt. Possibly for riding, the hat has a cylindrical crown 2" high, slightly domed at top. Encircling the base of the crown is a narrow band of black suede, tied at side. The narrow brim is of the same black felt. material. From sides and back of hat hang a panel of black jersey to protect the wearer's neck from sun. The panel is cut to create extending ties at sides, which secure under wearer's chin. Unlined, with a black grosgrain ribbon inner headband. Designer's label sewn to back headband: "Clover Lane" Stamped inside front of crown: "[coat of arms] / Glenover / Faurn(?) Mid-length, the dress's collar is a variant of a band collar, standing at back and sides, tapering slightly to front and open at front with V-neckline opening below created by wrapped front opening. Short sleeves have a 2" cuff band, and the back yoke panel forms a chevron shape over the shoulders. Front opening with closure of hidden snaps and hooks & eyes down to hemline. Simulated belt at natural waistline that has a hook & eye closure and tab which buttons on left side with orange, domed-shaped button and tailored buttonhole. Lined in matching rayon. Description: Dress of polychrome cotton print. The floor-length dress is of cotton fabric with a raised "zig-zag" texture, in the style of cotton piqué weaving. It is printed with a series of horizontal bands in geometric designs in blues, reds, greens, tan/brown, orange, and purple. The sleeveless dress has a shallow boat neckline in front and deep squared-off neckline at back. The fitted bodice section ends at the natural waist, into which the long skirt is slightly gathered. The front of the skirt has two patch pockets of the same material, with the print matched to disguise the pockets. One of the lower bands of the skirt is embellished with applied non-functional circular gold-colored "buttons". The hem of the dress has a 7 cm. wide band horizontal band of red wool trim, from which hangs red wool fringe. The center back zipper closure has a single hook-and-eye at top. The dress is lined in red fabric. The dress has two labels sewn inside. At left side at seam is designer's label "Lanvin / Paris New York"; at right side near zipper is size label "6".

Description: Maxi paper bridesmaid dress of Reemay spun polyester "paper". The long dress is printed with a pattern of impressionistic flowers in greens, pink, blues and purples on a yellow ground. It has a high, rounded neckline with no collar, and opens with a zipper at center back from collar to just above waist. The long, fitted sleeves have a thin band at cuff which extends to be tied into a bow. Empire waistline, from which extend box pleats. The dress appears to have a full, floor-length skirt, but the skirt is actually divided, forming pant legs. No designer labels in garment, but original tag is preserved with it: Obverse: "'Wear-a-while'* / Fashions / with / Reemay [trademark symbol] / Du Pont's Fabulous / New 100% Spun Bonded Polyester / DuPont Reemay brings an entirely new quality to 'conven- / ience fashions'. Description: Hat of red satin and sequins. The hat is styled as a calotte (also spelled "calot") of dark red satin almost completely covered in sequined floral appliques. Irregular lower edge, following the outline of the appliques. Lined in black paper (?) and satin, and with an inner hatband of black grosgrain ribbon. A small stitched mark on the band indicates the front of the hat, and a small applied white ribbon bow is set at back. Designer's Label: "Lilly / Daché / Paris New York". Label is large, extending across the inside of the hat, the "Paris", most of "New" and all of "York" are cut off.

Description: Hat of dark green felt and multicolored yarns. Formed in the style of a small bonnet, the cylindrical crown is pointed back, and cut flat across top. The front of the crown is overlaid by a band of heavily embroidered/crocheted flowers and ground of various colors of yarn, and scattered shaped beads. This band is bordered by a thick purple yarn. At the front of the hat and extending along the sides are the brim, folded back to form a second wide band of heavily embroidered/crocheted flowers and ground. The hat is unlined, and from the inside can be seen the inner part of the embroidery/crochet.
