A) Evening dress of black and pink. Outer layer of black mesh with large floral appliques and embroidery. High waistline. Bodice is sleeveless. Full-length. Center back zipper. Under layers of: light pink tulle; light pink tulle; light pink organdy; light pink inner sheath of silk(?). Princess seams. Built-in bra with underwires and with boning in bodice. Designer's label at left armscye: "Pierre Balmain / Paris" Handwritten couture number underneath: "N=173204" B) Stole of black tulle. Ruched/"bunched" wreath form, attached at center front with covered snaps, with a large pink silk flower over closure.
