Description: Day dress of yellow and white matelassé. Sleeveless with deep V-shaped neckline. Center front opening with 4 large mother-of-pearl buttons and bound buttonholes. Dropped waistline front panel pleated at sides; knee length. Attached half-belt of same in back with two mother-of-pearl buttons and bound buttonholes. Designer's label at center back neckline: "Teal Traina / New York" Retailer's label at right side seam: "Neiman-Marcus" Union label at right side seam.

Two large covered snaps in front for closure. 3" belt attaches at sides and closes at center front with two flat black 1" buttons and bound buttonholes. Straight long sleeves with 4 smaller non-functioning matching buttons and bound buttonholes. White silk lining. Retailer's label at inside left near lapel: "Palm Beach / Martha / New York Miami Beach" Evidence of large label removed from center back neckline. B) Skirt. Slightly A-lined with slightly gathered at waist at 3" waistband. Midi length. Left side closure with 3 hooks & eyes and 8" plastic zipper. Lined in black silk. Designer's label at left side of lining near hem: "Norman Norell / New York" Union label attached to left side of designer's label.

Skirt with box pleat at back. Lined in cream net/muslin. Knit fabric cut horizontally. Center front opening from throat to waist fastened with 5 chased gold-colored metal circular buttons and a single hidden snap at bottom. Skirt gathers at waistline from hips and around back; center front not gathered. Lined in cream, the skirt portion of lining forming inner skirt attached at waistline. Designer's label at inside back collar: "Traina / New York" Care label at inside left lapel: "Dry Clean / Only" Fabric label inside inner skirt: "[logo] / All Pure Wool" and ""The American Way / With Wool / Fabric made in the U.S.A.".

Description: Hat of light brown felt and net. Styled as a boater or "Pamela hat", the low, domed crown is of stiffened light brown net, overlaid with light brown felt circles of various sizes, and irregular band around the lower edge. At back is a bow, secured under a strap of the felt, made of lighter brown/beige satin tube ribbon. The brim is of the same felt, curling up at outer edge, banded at outer edge in the same satin tube ribbon. The hat is unlined, with inner light brown grosgrain ribbon hatband. Designer's(?) label inside: "Anniversaire / Original / by New Era" Additional tag: "ADJ / M.S.C."
