Hat
Hat of light brown felt and net. Styled as a boater or "Pamela hat", the low, domed crown is of stiffened light brown net, overlaid with light brown felt circles of various sizes, and irregular band around the lower edge. At back is a bow, secured under a strap of the felt, made of lighter brown/beige satin tube ribbon. The brim is of the same felt, curling up at outer edge, banded at outer edge in the same satin tube ribbon. The hat is unlined, with inner light brown grosgrain ribbon hatband. Pumps
Pumps of black satin. The shoes are designed with gently pointed toes, rounded at ends, with rounded vamp. At vamp is set a bow of thin black satin ribbon, threaded into the lobes of which are black spherical beads studded with rhinestones. Pair of pumps of multicolored leather and lace. The pumps are designed with rounded toes and almost squared-off vamps. The uppers are made of off-white mesh overlaid with a lattice of beige lace, with diamond shapes of yellow, green, and coral pink leather set in the openings. The upper is edged with white leather. The medium-high heels are curved around sides and back, taper to base, and are covered with same white leather. Front of heel is cut straight across, covered with light tan leather. Hat of wine-red velvet. When seen from above, the low crown is shaped as a quatrefoil, with four projecting, down-turned lobes. The sides of crown and the lobes have black braid appliques of scrolling forms. Inside of the crown is lined in black fabric and has a coral/faded pink grosgrain ribbon inner hatband. On either side are stiff black-covered wire loops to help secure hat to wearer's head. Pumps of silver lamé. Designed with a squared toe, the plain uppers have a "sweetheart" shaped vamp embellished with crystal beads in scrolling forms. Evening ensemble of heavy pink Alaskine silk/wool blend, consisting of a jacket and dress. The jacket is a cropped, bolero style, with rounded neckline and short sleeves. It has a center front opening with single hook-and-eye at throat. The sleeves, neckline, opening, and hem are edged in band of pink and crystal beads and rhinestones. Scattered over the surface of the jacket are clusters of pearl, crystal, and silvered beads. The matching dress is full-length, with an Empire waist. It is sleeveless, with very slight scoop at front neckline, and a deep rounded scoop to mid-back at back.The straps are heavily beaded with pink and crystal beads and rhinestones. The 4-gore A-line skirt gathers slightly into bodice. The dress has an inner pink nylon(?) sheath lining.
