Description: Picture hat of natural straw lace. The low, domed crown is covered with black velvet, and encircled at the base with wide ribbon of the same velvet, with bow and trailing ends at back. The wide brim is of straw lace with a medium-fine mesh and wider bands creating concentric chevrons around the brim. The brim is lined in black fabric, with inner black grosgrain hatband, to the front of which is attached a single small clear plastic comb to secure hat to wearer's head. The brim has a single thin band of black velvet underneath, near the rim. Designer's label on inner hatband: "Hazel Eller - Custom Made".

Description: Picture hat of finely braided and tightly coiled natural straw. The domed crown is encircled at base by a band of gold braid, knotted at back with trailing fringed ends. The wide brim, wider at front than back, slopes downwards. The hat is unlined, with inner beige/gray grosgrain ribbon hatband. Retailer's label on inner hatband: "Neiman-Marcus / Dallas" Size label: "22"

Description: Picture hat of woven natural straw. The low, slightly domed crown is encircled at base by a band of dark brown velvet ribbon, with bow and trailing ribbons at back right. The wide circular brim is almost horizontal, curving very slightly downwards. The crown is unlined, with inner dark brown grosgrain ribbon hatband. The underside of the brim is faced in dark brown velvet matching the velvet band around crown. From the underside of the brim extend two different bands of net mesh veiling, a smaller, open mesh veil from base of crown to nose, and a fine mesh extending from mouth to lower throat. Accompanied by a single hatpin with brown faux pearl head. Retailer's label sewn to inner hatband: "Neiman-Marcus"

Description: Evening hat of black silk satin and black ostrich feathers. hat is formed as a black satin domed crown totally covered with black ostrich feathers, forming a cloud around the wearer's head. At front, and running below feathers around head, is wide band of black silk satin, with a bow at front center. Hat is lined in black silk.

At front and sides of hat is an embellishment of leaf-form set with blue beads and pearls. The front and sides are overlaid with a fine mesh veil, which has small scattered worked circles. No labels in hat.

Description: Hatlet of black fur felt (beaver?). The shallow domed crown is overlaid with strips of the same fur felt, edged with black satin. One strip crosses front from side to side, and one small strip goes along each side, and where they cross they form a bow-shaped motif on each side. Unlined, with a red grosgrain ribbon inner hatband. With a single black bead headed hatpin. Stamped inside crown: "Flaminsol / Imported"
