- Jacket of dark brown sueded leather, with fringe. Hip-length jacket in "hippie style" has center front opening with 4 circular dark brown translucent buttons (one missing), patch pockets, long sleeves, and bands of long self fringe along arms, on bands across upper breast, at edges of patch pockets, along lower hem, and along back yoke. Lined in lavender acetate. Maker's (Brand?) label at inside back collar: "México / Típico / Hecho en Mexico", stamped with blue "36" in upper right corner.
- Textile. Rectangular panel of handwoven cotton/wool, with fringed ends. Mexican weaving, in the Saltillo style, done in reds, blacks, blues, greens, and white. Inlay designs with central diamond shape formed of chevrons and diamonds, width-wise stripes of gradated colors, and bands with short trapezoidal gradated bars of color.
- T-Shirt - Che Guevara
- T-shirt of white cotton, having short sleeves and a rounded neckline, which is printed with an artistic rendering of a portrait of Che Guevara, arranged as large main central portrait in black, surrounded by four smaller renditions in pale gray. Acquired by the donor in Mexico City in 1971 from a vendor in the Mexico City Metro. Ernesto "Che" Guevara (b. June 14, 1928 in Rosario, Argentina - d. La Higuera, Bolivia, October 9, 1967) commonly known as El Che or simply Che, was an Argentine Marxist revolutionary, physician, author, intellectual, guerrilla leader, diplomat, military theorist, and major figure of the Cuban Revolution.
