The view is of the entire sculpture from the right front. The young male figure has long wavy hair. His right arm reaches out gently with an object in his palm. The lower half of his body is draped. His toes are visible. The marble varies from light brown to almost white. There is a large rust colored area on the figure's chest.

In this sculpture, the head of Athena looks slightly downward. She's wearing a draping garment and the bust is cut off at the shoulders. Her hair curls down each side of her face and she wears her traditional cap.
