Cocktail dress of black silk gazar. The halter-style neckline of the dress ends in straps at center back of the fitted, dropped-waist bodice. The skirt is a semi-full, gathered, mid-thigh length. There is a boned inner bodice of black silk tulle with bust pads, grosgrain bust and waist stays fastening with hooks-and-eyes, an elaborate closure involving halter drape and inner and outer zippers down the left sideseam and five snaps that secure the halter panel and disguise the zipper. Fully lined in black chiffon.

Evening suit of black velvet. The ensemble consists of a jacket of black velvet with machine embroidered vine and floral motifs in black threads and black beads. The coat has a notched collar, long sleeves with wide cuffs and two non-functional buttons on each sleeve, and two non-functional pockets at front. Center-front opening with two circular black satin-covered buttons. The lapels, cuffs, and pocket flaps are all of black satin. The knee-length skirt of of the same fabric, with satin waistband. Full-length, high-waisted, and with tapered legs, the pants have a satin waistband and inverted pleats at top of hips at front and back. Slit pockets at sides open along edge of a black satin stripe which runs length of leg at side. The pants have a side zipper and hook-and-eye closure. Full length; empire waist; v-neck with detail stitching; darker red rough silk weave inserts at shoulders and extending from sides to back; sleeveless; low back has partially attached fabric drape; back has curved seams with triangular openings that reveal red iridescent silk taffeta lining; center back zipper. Dark green coat has red interior with exposed 4 1/2" turned up cuffs, which are sewn in place, and a shawl collar seamed in back and extending to hem; open front with no fasteners. Two seams extend from neckline to hems of sleeves; seams at front and back of shoulder join underarm seam; CB seam from neckline to hem measures 43"; attached shoulder pads.

Coat of light brown napped wool with light brown silk lining. Coat is mid-length, open front with short shawl collar which is seamed in back. Seams at front and back of shoulder attach sleeves underarm; single sleeve comes down from top of shoulder and breaks into an inverted pleat; full-length sleeves are gathered into 3" cuffs; inverted pleat down CB; side seams break at hips to side pockets. Dress of brown velvet and satin. Full length; princess seams; asymmetrical bodice comes to a point above left breast; two satin straps attach to right side point on back; brown satin edge around bodice and brown satin bows at points on front and back; partially attached boned lining. Zipper down right princess seam on back; lined in brown silk with separate zipper.

A) Evening dress of black and pink. Outer layer of black mesh with large floral appliques and embroidery. High waistline. Bodice is sleeveless. Full-length. Center back zipper.
