Breton Hat

Description: Breton hat of deep red fur felt. The cylindrical crown is flattened at top, and is encircled at the base by a wide band of horizontally pleated peau de soie silk satin. The wide brim is curved out and up around the crown, and is lined/faced with same fur, while the part of the brim facing the crown is faced with deep red fabric. Description: Hat of off-white fur felt. The crown of the hat is shaped as low, domed tear-drop, the point curving down along the back of the wearer's head. The tightly rolled brim follows the shape of the crown, and creates a "tail" at back of head.
