Description: Dress. Floor-length dress of ivory knit, overlaid with a gold netting. Sleeveless and with a boat-neckline, the sheath-style dress has ornate heavy gold cording around neckline, armholes, along side-seams, and hem. The skirt has small side slits, and a center lapped zipper closure located along center-back of garment with hook-and-eye closure at top of zipper. Lined with a light polyester.

Description: A) Dress of pale yellow/parchment wool jersey knit. Street-length, with center front opening with 7 self-covered circular buttons, the eighth - at throat - missing. Patch pocket at upper right breast, and two large patch pockets at hips. Long sleeves, gathered into cuffs, which have two self-covered buttons each. Lined in matching silk(?) Designer's label: "Norman Norell / New York" Retailer's label: "Lou Lattimore / Dallas" B) Tie belt of same fabric. No labels in belt.

Large patch pockets at left and right seams. Lined in navy silk. Designer's label at left seam of lining near hem: "Norman Norell / New York" Cleaning instructions label at center front neckline: "Care Instructions / Professionally / Dry Clean Only" B) Sash style belt of matching fabric. Rectangular, 2" x 108". Tubular construction with open ends. Attaches to back of dress.

Description: Dress of navy blue wool jersey. a) Day dress of navy wool jersey. White linen detachable collar connects to neckline with snaps. Below knee length with A-line skirt. White linen 7/8" bias strip at edge of center front opening that extends 7 1/2" below waist. Thirteen 3/4" pearl buttons with gold edge and bound buttonholes; buttons separate at waistline to accommodate belt. Long sleeves with 1-3/4" slit at seam. 3" deep pleat in skirt at side front and back. Concealed slit pockets in side seams. Unlined. Designer's label on inside left seam: "Norman Norell / New York" b) Belt of 3" wide white patent leather, slightly curved, with large circular gold buckle. Not original to garment. Evidence of small cords at side seams, which Norell usually used to attach cloth belts, or thin belt-loops. This belt would not have fit. Retailer's stamp on reverse: "I Magnin / 30 Calderon 5938"

Combined designer/retailer label on lining at left seam near hemline: "Norman Norell for Neiman-Marcus" B) Black leather belt. Two-inches wide with rectangular buckle covered in self. Reverse stamped: "8 / Christian Dior / New York"

Description: A) Off-white/beige cream wool jersey dress with matching belt. Knee-length or slightly longer. Long sleeves. Slight standing collar which opens at throat. Center front opening with series of 17 functional circular gilt buttons with "dimpled" texture. At throat are two non-functional buttons on the turned-back part of the collar. Buttonholes are bound, with red backgrounds. Large patch pockets at hips. Lined in a beige/cream silk. Designer's label at inside back collar: "Norman-Norell / New York" B) Long sash belt of same fabric, of tubular construction. No marks on belt.
