Floor length with black velvet ribbon along hem. Left side snap closure. B) Under dress of black silk crepe. Bias cut; halter style neckline with spaghetti strap that loops over back of neck. Trimmed with 5" gathered net at hem.

Description: A) Dress of indigo blue lace with silver metallic threads woven throughout. The full-length dress has a shallow V-neck in front, and a low V-neck in back with turned back, pointed "collar". The long sleeves each have a series of 4 tiny snaps from wrist upwards along arm. There is a deep ruffle or flounce of the same material at the waist, simulating a peplum. The long skirt is slightly scalloped at the hem, and is longer in back forming a slight train. Description: Evening gown of ivory satin and chiffon. Tubular blouson bodice has 1" shoulder straps and center back closure of hook & eyes with 2" wide bow and trailing ends. Fitted tubular satin slip insert at hips with A-line over skirt of cream chiffon trimmed in 6" band of baby ostrich feathers (swans down?) to just below thigh. Full length lower paneled skirt is flared. Bodice lined in self with grosgrain ribbon petersham; skirt unlined.
