Beaded dress

Description: Evening dress of turquoise blues and shades of pink silk chiffon with beaded bodice. Breton Hat

Description: Breton hat of blue fur felt. The domed crown is encircled by a wide band of blue grosgrain ribbon with large bow at back. Cloche hat

Description: Cloche hat of blue-green velvet. An early example of the cloche hat, it has a narrow up-turned brim. All around the crown is floral decoration carried out in beading, appliqué, and embroidery with thin lines of gold thread sewn throughout. The edges of the brim are similarly decorated. Remains of silk lining. No labels. Measurements: 24 cm across at longest point; 22.5 cm across on narrow side; 15 cm high from base of brim to top of crown.
