Description: Suit of gold silk gaberdine. a) Jacket of gold silk gaberdine. Single-breasted, waist-length jacket has notched collar. Long sleeves with one 7/8" button with bound button hole at lower edge. Two 7/8" buttons with bound buttonholes as closure. Lined in gold silk. Designer's label at back neckline: "Norman Norell / New York" Retailer's label at back neckline: "Marie Leavell" b) Skirt of gold silk gaberdine. Knee length; A-line; slightly gathered into 1" waistband. Two large front patch pockets. Left side zipper with two hook & eyes on waistband. Slits at side seams at hemline. Lined in gold silk. c) Webbed belt of same fabric attached to skirt. 1-3/4" wide. Self covered buckle. Stamp on reverse: "10 Norman Norell"

Notched collar of brown velvet with self fabric lapels. Long sleeved with turn-up cuff of brown velvet and two small self covered buttons and bound buttonholes on each sleeve. Lined in brown taffeta. Combined designer/retailer label at center back neckline: "Neiman-Marcus Dallas / Traina-Norell B) Skirt of chocolate wool in woven, checked pattern. Wide, flared A-line with 10 panel construction. 1 1/2" waistband with center back lapped zipper and hook & eye closure at waistband. Lined in brown taffeta.

Long sleeves, each with two self-covered buttons and bound buttonholes, and two hidden snaps. Lined in navy blue silk, and with internal shoulder pads. Combined Designer's/Retailer's label: "Neiman-Marcus Dallas / Traina-Norell" B) Skirt. Street-length flared skirt of 10 gores, with narrow waistband, left side zipper with two hook-and-eyes in waistband. Lined in navy blue silk.

Description: Three-piece suit consisting of green wool jacket, skirt and red striped jersey blouse. A) Jacket of green twill wool. Single breasted with notched collar in red twill wool on exterior of collar extending down interior of front opening. Three self covered buttons and bound buttonholes. Mock flap pockets at sides trimmed with matching self covered buttons and red undersides. Long, set in sleeves with split opening at cuff closed with single, self covered button and bound buttonhole and lined on underside in red. Lined in red silk crepe. Designer's label on inside right: "Traina-Norell / New York" B) Skirt in green twill wool. A line; below knee length. White grosgrain ribbon waistband. Left side zipper. Unlined. C) Blouse in green and red striped jersey. Long sleeves. Narrow, rounded collar banded in matching fabric. Left side opening at neckline with 5 self covered buttons and bound buttonholes on 1-inch band of self. Fitted. Partially lined at back neckline in off-yellow organdy.

Fully lined in ivory satin. Combined designer/retailer label at center back neckline: "Neiman-Marcus Dallas / Traina-Norell" B) Skirt of beige wool. Slight A-line with 1 inch, tan grosgrain ribbon waistband. Left side zipper with adjustable hook & bar at waistband. Lined in ivory silk crepe.

Description: Two-piece suit of dark orange knit. A) Jacket of dark orange wool gaberdine. Double-breasted with princess seaming and a large cape collar. The full-length straight sleeves each have three circular black buttons and bound buttonholes. The opening at front has two vertical rows of 4 black circular buttons and a hidden snap closure at upper right. Attached to the jacket are four black patent leather belt carriers to support the accompanying thin black patent leather belt. Fully lined in black silk satin fabric. Designer's label at inside at back collar: "Norell" B) Skirt of dark orange wool gaberdine. Knee length with a 2" wide waistband into which the skirt gathers. Two slit pockets at side seams, one of which conceals zipper closure and line of snaps and hooks-and-eyes. Fully lined in orange/red fabric. Care label sewn below waistband at inside front: "Do Not Use / Steam Iron" C) Belt of black patent leather. 1/2" wide with rectangular self covered buckle. Reverse stamped: "Charming / Belts"

Each sleeve with a line of six buttons at cuff and bound buttonholes. Fully lined in burgundy fabric. Designer's label at center back neckline: "Norell" B) Skirt of same heavy burgundy wool with slight gathers into waistband. Above the knee length; A-line. Slit pocket on each side. Left side zipper closure hidden within pocket and concealed by three hook-and-eyes at top of pocket and four hook-and-eyes in waistband. Lined in burgundy fabric. Creator: Palter DeLiso (New York, New York, USA) (est. 1930's by Daniel Palter and Vincent De Liso, closed ca. 1975?)
Description: Pair of sling-back pumps of black calf leather. Shoes have a narrow platform and are open toe. Rounded throat on vamp, which is decorated with applied oval detailing in 3 layers. Center layer of black grosgrain, upper and lower layers of black leather. Oval cut-out in center of detail. Ankle-strap fastens with small rectangular black metal buckles. 3" black-lacquered French set-under heel similar to a spike form. Handwritten in side of each shoe: "6 1/2 B / r28514 / 1510-6BF" Stamped inside both shoes: "Palter DeLiso / Capri / Last" Stamped in left shoe: "Palter DeLiso inc / New York City" Right shoe with inlaid woven cloth label: "Neiman Marcus Co. Dallas / Fenwyn / Trade Mark Reg'd"

Sling-Back Pumps

Description: Pair of sling-back pumps of multicolored (tan, gray, red) print fabric. The shoes are designed with pointed toes, the uppers cut away at sides and back, and with a long strap that secures from sides of toebox, back to sides of heel, and with another strap attaching to the side straps at about the ankle and passing behind the heel. Stiletto heel is covered with the same fabric. On the toebox of the shoe are applied simulated colored gemstones/rhinestones of two sizes. Designer's label: "Herbert Levine" Retailer's label: "Neiman Marcus" Handwritten inside: "6 1/2 M 9814.2LI / 35124"
