Panel
Length of Handwoven Fabric. Two breadth garment handwoven in cotton on the backstrap loom. Natural brown cotton with white cotton stripes - warp faced weave. The 2 panels are joined with machine stitching and the ends have machine stitched hems. One panel is slightly longer (2 3/8") than the other.

Parachicos mask of painted wood. Black side whiskers and goatee.
Patchwork jacket
Jacket of multicolored jewel-tone patchwork synthetic. Hip length; jewel neckline; open at center front; edged with black piping all over and around arms eye. Patchwork is made of blue, pink, turquoise, and blue organically shaped panels with sporadic roundels and teardrops of jewel-tone velvet, with pattern matched across the center front opening. Full-length, formed of a wide rectangular of fabric, the lower corner at one end curved off to be the outer curve of the skirt when wrapped and tucked. D & E) Sandals with rope soles. On individual record, stored with shoes.

T-Shirt - Che Guevara
T-shirt of white cotton, having short sleeves and a rounded neckline, which is printed with an artistic rendering of a portrait of Che Guevara, arranged as large main central portrait in black, surrounded by four smaller renditions in pale gray. Acquired by the donor in Mexico City in 1971 from a vendor in the Mexico City Metro. Ernesto "Che" Guevara (b. June 14, 1928 in Rosario, Argentina - d. La Higuera, Bolivia, October 9, 1967) commonly known as El Che or simply Che, was an Argentine Marxist revolutionary, physician, author, intellectual, guerrilla leader, diplomat, military theorist, and major figure of the Cuban Revolution.
Skirt suit
Skirt suit of gray crepe. A) Jacket: Box style; single breasted with closure of three gray buttons and bound buttonholes. Hip length. Long, full sleeves are square cut into the rounded shoulder of the jacket; gathers into 2” cuffs and close with a matching button and bound buttonhole. Half belt around the back attaches at the sides with matching buttons. Lined in mauve acetate; shoulder pads. Designer's label: Manuel Méndez H. / Mexico Retailer's label: Salon International / El Palacio de Hierro B) Skirt: Maxi length with right side panel giving wrap around effect. Left side zipper with two covered hook & loops on 1” waistband. Lined in mauve acetate.

Textile
Textile. Rectangular panel of handwoven cotton/wool, with fringed ends. Mexican weaving, in the Saltillo style, done in reds, blacks, blues, greens, and white. Inlay designs with central diamond shape formed of chevrons and diamonds, width-wise stripes of gradated colors, and bands with short trapezoidal gradated bars of color.
