The relationship between couples’ religiosity and their sexuality education needs is poorly understood. The purpose of the research as a pilot study was to explore premarital individuals’ sexual and reproductive health literacy and sexual concerns, as well as whether religiosity might be able to predict either one of these variables. Using a small sample of dating and engaged couples and individuals (N = 48), bivariate regression analyses, analyses of variance, and a canonical correlation analysis (CCA) were conducted on survey data. Results from the CCA indicated that there may be a complex and negative relationship between one’s religiosity and sexual/reproductive health knowledge, but given the small sample size, the results were statistically insignificant.
MyStory: Scary Head...2018-01-23T05:28:11-06:00https://digital.library.unt.edu/ark:/67531/metadc1062082/

This article consists of a critical autoethnographic study of the writer's personal experience, specifically detailing experiences while wearing a headscarf in academic and social environments.
Oral Supplementation with Baker's Yeast Beta Glucan Is Associated with Altered Monocytes, T Cells and Cytokines following a Bout of Strenuous Exercise2017-11-15T11:13:09-06:00https://digital.library.unt.edu/ark:/67531/metadc1040505/

This article discusses a study to determine if 10 days of oral supplementation with Baker's yeast beta glucan (BYBG) could modify previously observed suppression of monocytes, T cells, circulating and whole blood LPS-stimulated cytokines due to strenuous exercise.
Student Motivation Strategies to Start the New School Year!2023-09-10T17:52:21-05:00https://digital.library.unt.edu/ark:/67531/metadc2178091/

Presentation for developing student motivation with an emphasis in bilingual education or ESL students.
