Social-Ecological Factors Predict College Students’ Physical Activities and Sedentary Behavior

Description: Article investigates the predictive strengths of individual, social, and physical environmental factors toward different intensities of physical activity and sedentary behavior among college students. Correlation and hierarchical regression analyses were performed to examine the associations and the relative contributions of those individual, social, and physical environmental factors to physical activity and sedentary behavior, respectively.

Capabilities, Opportunities, and Motivation: Exploring Fitness Program Experiences of Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

Description: Article asserts that, although there are many benefits to regular engagement in physical activity, adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities often do not engage in or near the recommended amount of physical activity.
