The Objectives of Basic Political Science Courses in Texas Institutions of Higher Education as Perceived by Instructors of the Courses

Description: The State of Texas requires the completion of all six semester hours of government for graduation from a public college, but does not provide detailed guidelines regarding content, and related objectives, for these courses. Problems Involved in the Academic Advisement Process of Foreign Graduate Students at North Texas State University

Description: The subjects were 69 graduate faculty advisors, 187 foreign graduate students, and 184 American graduate students who were enrolled at North Texas State University in the Spring Semester, 1984. Statistical techniques used for data analysis include frequency distributions, percentages, means, and Mann-Whitney U test.
