Student Teacher Expectations of the Leadership Role of the Principal

Description: The purposes of this study were to determine student teacher expectations of the behavior of the principal in two dimensions of leadership as measured by the Ohio State Leader Behavior Description Questionnaire (LBDQ) and the extent to which these expectations were related to sex, race, level of preparation, and the eight personality traits measured by the Gordon Personal Profile (GPP) and the Gordon Personal Inventory (GPI).

Description: This study was undertaken to determine what differences are found among personality characteristics of superior students, in special English classes, who score high on a standardized achievement test and superior students in the same classes who score low on this test. The Relative Effectiveness of Two Methodologies in High School Senior English in the Development of Composition Skills
