Description: The specific purposes of this investigation, therefore, are (1) to determine any general pattern in the development of different phases of personnel programs in different firms; and (2) to make an intensive case study of the development of the personnel program in one organization--Moore Business Forms, Incorporated--which might serve as a guide for similar studies in other firms.

Description: It is the purpose of this study to analyze certain basic problems of office operations and personnel administration in the Goodyear Retail Stores, and to make recommendations as to improvements most needed. Specifically, this study is undertaken with the intention of determining to what extent proper planning, more efficient operating procedures, and improved personnel relationships can aid in the success of office management in the Goodyear stores.

Description: This thesis has as its primary purpose determining what, if any, resentment toward junior executive programs may exist among regular or "old" employees of a selected group of petroleum companies in the Port Arthur, Beaumont, and Port Neches area of Texas. At the same time, measures taken in these companies to cope with the problem will be studied and appraised.
