Changes in Morale in a Southern Baptist Sunday School Faculty

Description: The attitude of the church school teacher must be improved, and this is the primary purpose of this paper. An attempt was made to study scientifically teacher attitudes as measured by an adaptation of the Purdue Teacher Opinionaire administered to a systematically observed sample chosen from three church school faculties in the three Southern Baptist Churches in Denton, Texas.

A Comparative Analysis of Selected Characteristics of Foster Grandparents Assigned to Criterion Groups on the Bases of Tenure and Supervisor Evaluations

Description: This study was concerned with determining whether those foster grandparents employed at Denton State School and seen as more or less successful in job performance could be differentiated on the basis of selected psychological and sociological characteristics. In summary, it may be said that the study was exploratory in terms of the population involved but borrowed its methods and variables for investigation from studies of similar purpose of groups participating in "helping relationships."

The Stanford-Binet, Form L-M, and the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children: A Comparative Study Utilizing Cultural-Familial and Undifferentiated Mental Retardates

Description: The purpose of this study was to compare the results obtained on the Stanford-Binet, Form L-M, and the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children for a group of cultural-familial and undifferentiated mental retardates. Such as study should provide some evidence as to whether the two instruments adequately measure similar abilities and whether the IQ's obtained from one can be considered comparable with the IQ's obtained from the other.
