This article presents the synthesis and characterization of a hybrid vanadium-organic coordination polymer with robust magnetic order, a Curie temperature TC of ~110 K, a coercive field of ~5 Oe at 5 K, and a maximum mass magnetization of about half that of the benchmark ferrimagnetic vanadium(tetracyanoethylene)~₂ (V·(TCNE)~₂).
Magnetic plasma expulsion
The article presents one scheme for what is referred to as magnetic plasma expulsion, which would prevent the plasma from entering a given region. Magnetic plasma expulsion techniques may allow instrumentation access to the interiors of plasmas. Magnetic plasma expulsion techniques may also make alternative approaches for magnetic plasma confinement possible. Particle-in-cell simulation with the Warp code is used to study magnetic plasma expulsion. Some conditions for achieving magnetic plasma expulsion are reported.

Magnetobound positronium and protonium
This article investigates the formation of magnetobound positronium and protonium via classical trajectory simulations of binary point charge interactions in an external magnetic field. The results of computer simulations of the fully three-dimensional trajectories of classical and non-relativistic point charges with the same mass, equal charge magnitude, and opposite sign are reported. The simulations show the formation of magnetobound positronium and protonium. The results yield formation cross sections, which are compared to analytical expressions. Additionally, the results reveal that magnetobound states drift across magnetic field lines.

This report details the feedback from library users and staff, collected via a survey of students with disabilities and a separate survey of library employees, highlighted a need for more accessible furniture in library spaces. The project members purchased various selections of library furniture during the grant period, and staff observed and recorded how users engaged with the new furniture. The “Malevolent” Benevolence: what happens to perceived immigrant threat when value priorities collide?
This article examines how self-transcending human values affect perceptions of immigrant threat. Results show that benevolence and universalism tend to affect perceived immigrant threat in opposite directions. A part of individuals’ anti-immigrant bias does not stem from strictly self-interested motivations, as often proposed, but by a sense of loyalty to the interests of our immediate contacts.
