Estimating Hausdorff measure for Denjoy maps

Description: Article describes how the authors plant to deal with orientation preserving homeomorphisms and, more specifically, diffeomorphisms of the unit circle S1. By employing the recurrence method worked out in Pawelec the authors provide effective lower estimates of the proper-dimensional Hausdorff measure of minimal sets of circle homeomorphisms that are not conjugate to any rotation.

Estimating landscape structure effects on pollination for management of agricultural landscapes

Description: Article estimating the effects of different scenarios of forest fragmentation to find an optimized pattern of forest patches for increasing pollination in an agricultural landscape. The authors use simulated agricultural landscapes and landscape metrics to estimate the relationship between pollination and landscape structure.

Estimating potential range shift of some wild bees in response to climate change scenarios in northwestern regions of Iran

Description: Article investigating the impact of climate change on distributional and habitat quality changes of five wild bees in northwestern regions of Iran under two representative concentration pathway scenarios (RCP 4.5 and RCP 8.5). This study uses species distribution models to predict the potential range shift of these species in the year 2070.

Estimation of technical change and price elasticities: a categorical time–varying coefficient approach

Description: This article, proposes a categorical time-varying coefficient translog cost function, where each coefficient is expressed as a nonparametric function of a categorical time variable, thereby allowing each time period to have its own set of coefficients.

Ethnicity as a Moderator Between Posttraumatic Stress Disorder and Suicidality in a Clinical Sample

Description: Poster discussing the role of ethnicity in the relationship between posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and suicidality. Research indicates an increased risk of suicide and suicidal behavior among individuals with PTSD. Latinx groups, in particular, have lower rates of suicide injury death in comparison to non-Latinx groups.
