The Alchemist's Wedding Band

Description: The small scale sculpture, according to the artist, represents an alchemical allegory of marriage. It is symmetrical with two bulbous shapes emerging from a third round piece which is balanced on a crescent shape. The work is topped with a funnel shape holding some shapes made of lead.

Arjuna's Bell

Description: Half of the bowl is decorated in yellow while the other half consists of many closely spaced dark blue rectangular hash marks. On the yellow half of the bowl are many hieroglyphic type marks.

Description: This head piece was created using mylar removed from floppy disks that were individually machine stitched into form, then hand sewn to create the overall look.

Description: An earthenware platter sits atop a shiny textured black base and blue and orange geometric shapes. The grooved dark portion of the base is shiny while the orange shape is textured and the blue shape is decorated with a dot pattern.

Description: The sculpture consists of a yellow head shape with a secondary face appearing in an oval shape on the surface. Protruding vertically out of the top of the head are three leaf like covered elongated shapes.

Edo Brocade

Description: The bowl shaped vessel sits atop a matching cushion shaped stand. Both bowl and stand are highly textured with grooved lines as well as amoeba shapes within which curved lines are carved. The colors are pale yellow, pale pink and a dark blue black.

Humble Origins

Description: The platter's edge is a yellow crackled surface on that encloses a green crackle texture in the center. Six purple curved rectangular shapes begin at the outside edge and move to the center while yellow and orange coils fill one side of the interior of the platter.
