The UNT Archives partnered with the UNT Libraries Digital Projects Unit (DPU), which managed all stages of the digitization. This paper describes and examines the process the DPU implemented to digitize the Cooke County ledger collection; in doing so, it provides insight into the problems one might encounter, as well as recommendations for institutions that may be considering similar digital projects.
