Refining the process: An institutional approach to preparing projects for digitisation

Description: This article describes the opportunities identified in pre-processing projects and front-loading decision-making for physical collections by librarians at the University of North Texas Libraries. Over several years of managing digital projects, librarians at the University of North Texas Libraries have refined their knowledge management and digitization operations to realize gains in efficiency and error reduction, and to provide a more fluid imaging workflow for staff and student workers.
