The Web-at-Risk project is one of eight digital preservation projects funded in 2004 by the Library of Congress. Each of the projects represents a collaborative effort to preserve for future generations born-digital or digitized cultural heritage materials and collections. The project work will be conducted along four paths of overlapping activities. The Web-at-Risk Project work paths include (1) Content identification, selection, and acquisition; (2) Content harvest and analysis; (3) Content ingest, retention, and transfer; and (4) Partnership building.

The Depository Library Community and Collaborative Participation in E-Government: AskUS (FDLP Librarians) and We Will Answer!: This book chapter examines the federal Executive Branch and Congressional vision of e-government and the role of the Government Printing Office's (GPO) Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP) to demonstrate how the FDLP can effectively participate in existing e-government initiatives. Needs Assessment Survey Report: Abbreviated Version: This report is part of the Web-at-Risk project. The Needs Assessment Toolkit created for the Web-at-Risk project describes the project's needs assessment activities and includes data collection tools, which are designated to identify the needs and requirements of curators, web-content producers, and end users with regard to the Web Archive Service. My Texas History Notebook: Interactive Lesson Plans for Fourth and Seventh Grade - Grant Materials: These grant materials were prepared for a project funded by Humanities Texas to develop and present online lesson plans that incorporate the interactive notebook style of learning. This method of teaching combines three pivotal concepts in educational research: spiral curriculum theory, multiple intelligences, and cooperative interaction. This problem-based learning system incorporates preview assignments, multiple intelligences teaching strategies, graphically organized notes, and processing assignments that require students to demonstrate their knowledge. The documents explore the research and methodology behind this style of pedagogy, and the elements of an interactive notebook. A work plan details how the project would work with master teachers to develop this curriculum. The project was funded for $7,200.
