Lessons Learned: Digitization of Cooke County Ledgers

Description: This paper describes a grant project to digitize Cooke County, Texas ledgers. The project was funded in part by the National Historic Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC) and involves digitizing and hosting several rare and unique collections representative of the Civil War. Deaf Smith County: Frontier Communities of the Llano Estacado Grant Materials

Description: These grant materials were prepared for a project funded by Humanities Texas to digitize materials from the Deaf Smith County Library. The collection represented a wealth of primary source images that document the people, places and culture of Hereford and the surrounding county.
