Description: The purpose of this study is to determine the public image of industrial arts education in Dallas, Texas. Information sought is obtained from interview schedules using random sampling techniques. The results of the study indicate that the public is not generally informed about industrial arts education. Description: The problem was to identify the technical competencies necessary for beginning industrial arts woodworking teachers in Texas public secondary schools.
