An Analysis and Production Book for a Contemporary Staging of Irwin Shaw's Bury the Dead

Description: The problem of this thesis is concerned with the directing and producing of a 1936 peace play, Bury the Dead, by Irwin Shaw. The production attempts to heighten the relevancy of the play to modern audiences. An Analysis of Marital, Sex and Occupational Status of Dramatic Characters on Commercial Television

Description: The purpose of this pilot study was to examine the characters portrayed on "prime-time" television drama in an attempt to determine how they compared, with the distribution represented in U. S. Census Bureau data for sex, marital status and occupational status. In pursuing this objective, it was also concerned with the development of a method of content analysis that would not require use of a videotape recorder.

Anxiety Relief Conditioning: a Critical Review and Supportive Experiment

Description: An experiment was conducted to separate the effects of anxiety relief conditioning from other variables which may be operative within that paradigm. A review of the literature revealed that no definitive investigations had been conducted, and critiques of these investigations were offered. A Comparative Investigation of the Application of Photographic Images to Glass by Screen-Process Enamel Ink, Screen-Process Glass Etching, and Transfer-Key

The image used originated from an ordinary thirty-five-millimeter color slide.
