Ajanta Cave 2

Description: The painting on the cave wall depicts several seated half-clothed figures inside an architectural setting. In the lower right corner is another couple can be seen through a gold embellished window. In the upper right corner are more people. On the left side is an animal that resembles a horse or dog. Lakshmana Temple Complex

Description: This detail view shows a sculpture in the form of a lion with a man much smaller in proportion on the grounds of the Lakshmana Temple dedicated to lord Vishnu. Some portion of the facade of the temple is visible as well as another temple in the upper right corner of this view.
