No labels in bodice. Matching skirt. Black, below-knee length, with narrow waistband into which skirt is gathered. Left side zipper, with hooks and eyes at waistband. Unlined. Modified batwing sleeves with cuffs having single self-covered button and hidden snap. Wide, shaped band at lower hem of blouse, with pointed sections at front, curving up at sides, and back down at center back. Center back with DEEP inner vent. Unlined. Designer's label at inside back collar: "Hanae Mori / Boutique" B) Skirt. Below-knee length A-line skirt with narrow waist band having hook-and-bar and concealed snap at center back, below which is zipper. Fully lined in brown silk(?) Description: Two piece skirt ensemble of navy blue linen consisting of: Blouse with round high neckline having asymmetric bodice closure. Curved diagonal top edge extension with four purple plastic buttons and tailored buttonholes at left side and one button with snap at right neckline. Short sleeves with modified box caps (seams rather than tucks). Bodice cut short and full, with slight lower flare. Padded shoulders. Lined in dark blue silk satin. Length: 20 1/2" (52.1 cm). Length: Designer's label at center back neckline: "Bill Blass" Union label, cleaning instructions and size "6" tag at left side seam. Skirt of medium length, straight, two panel style, gathered to narrow fitted waistband. Inseam slit pockets at both sides, with invisible zipper closure behind left pocket and large hook at waistband. Fully lined in same silk fabric as top. No designer label. 23 1/2" (59.7 cm). Size "6" tag at left side seam.

A) Blouse styled to appear as a vest of black rayon velvet trimmed with bands of floral and leaf motif embroidery with gold braid, beads, and multicolored embroidered flowers. Center front opening with closure of 5 large covered snaps. Large floral appliques on center back and at center front opening. Over-sized puffed sleeves of yellow rayon/silk blend satin to elbows; 2-1/2" cuffs have closure of two covered snaps. Designer's label at center back neckline: "Victor Costa" Union label attached under designer label. Fiber content label at right side seam. B) Skirt in purple rayon/silk blend satin. Sleeves are triangular in shape, forming oversized wings that flow as wearer moves. No labels. B) Slacks of off-white cotton or cotton/polyester blend. Fitted seaming and pleats centered on waist. Unlined. Label inside top at left side seam: "Made in France / Christian Dior / Paris" and stamped on label: "05456" B) Skirt of matching brocade. Description: Ensemble of navy-blue and slightly lighter silk organza composed of vertical hand-faggoted bands of alternating shades of blue giving light and dark effect. A) Blouse. Waist length with extending peplum to tuck under skirt. V-neckline, with collar of flat reveres with faggoted border. Short sleeves with turned-back cuffs. Center front opening with 4 self-covered buttons, a snap at the natural waistline, and 1 hook and loop and 5 hooks and eyes on peplum. The stripes and peplum are lined in pale gray organza, leaving the faggotted seams unlined. Underarm gussetts, with built-in pads. No labels. B) Skirt. Street length, full skirt matching bodice, with alternating vertical stripes, narrow navy blue waistband with center front opening with 5 self-covered buttons, and one hook and eye and two hook and loops on waistband, and a large snap which matches to bodice. Lined as blouse, with cream organza lining the stripes, but the faggotted bands left open, and with an inner skirt attached at waist of same cream silk organza, and with inner petticoat with flounce of cream tulle which has separate closure with 9 hook-and-eyes. No labels. Handwritten note on waistband "RH650 2P(?)" C) Inner shell camisole/lining for blouse of cream silk. ...

Long sleeves gathered with feather stitching; 6" fitted cuffs. Lined in brown polished cotton. B) Skirt. Full length; gathered on 1" waistband of black cotton with closure of two hook & eyes. Ensemble - Bodystocking, Mini-Skirt and Belt

Description: Ensemble consisting of three pieces. Full-length bodystocking is of heavy ivory wool knit, in a ribbed pattern running vertically throughout body and legs, and horizontally around arms. The garment has a turtle-neck and wide flaring cuffs at legs. Center back zipper opening from top of turtle-neck to mid-back. The black double knit wool micro-mini-skirt has four over-sized belt loops with pointed ends, and center back zipper closure. The ensemble includes a wide black patent-leather belt which secures with concealed snaps. Bodystocking has two labels. Designer's label inside at back near zipper: "Pierre Cardin / Paris New York"; Material/size label on opposite side: "100% / Wool / L" The skirt has no labels. The belt is stamped on reverse: "12 1851" From the Fall 1969/1970 season. Records indicate that the ensemble was originally offered in the Maisonette Room of Neiman-Marcus.

Sleeveless with wide, rounded neckline. Center back zipper with hook & eye extends to skirt portion of dress. Lower skirt portion is A-lined, attached at high waist and is of matching black and white windowpane check. Black grosgrain ribbon petersham with hook & eye. Lined in ivory silk. No labels in garment.

Description: Three-piece ensemble of navy blue wool tweed with white silk threads. A) Cape. Falls below hips. Constructed with applied bands or plackets of self giving the appearance of pleats. No collar; rounded neckline with modified suspender self bands at neck that extend down to waist and secure to the pair of buttons on the waistband of the skirt. Padded shoulders. Lined in white satin. Remains of label, mostly illegible, in pieces, covered with crepeline. "65-67 Champ ........ Paris" B) Blouse of white satin. Collarless with piped, rounded, high neckline and string tie at front (decorative). Long, set-in sleeves gathered into cuffs with single button and tailored buttonhole at each cuff. Front with wide center and two narrow vertical pin-tucks. Center back closure with 7 circular shell/mother-of-pearl buttons and tailored buttonholes. No labels in shirt. C) Skirt. Street-length, A-line with 1-1/2 inch waistband. Two pairs of circular dark blue buttons on waistband for securing "suspenders". Left side zipper with four sets of hook-and-eyes (one missing). Simulated pleats, sewn down, with vertical strips of same fabric sewn to skirt giving illusion of further pleating. Unlined. Label on waistband to left of zipper: "Made In France"

Coat dress portion is tailored at waistline with 3/4 length sleeves. Small turndown collar. Lined in rust brown colored silk faille. Description: Ensemble of printed silk. The full-length dress is of silk with a printed design of abstract flower forms in red, blue, purple, white, yellow and green on a black ground. It has a rounded neckline and long sleeves which have fabric covered snaps at the wrists. The bodice is seamed and fitted, and the skirt is slightly A-line, flaring to hem. Center back closure, top third is hook-and-eyes, the lower two-thirds is a zipper. The dress is fully lined in black silk. Designer's label sewn inside bodice near waist: "Givenchy". Underneath label is a second label with handwritten notation "48245". The matching coat is of the same print on a heavier weight silk. It is full-length, with a standing collar which has internal wiring for support. The sleeves are full-length, and it has a center front opening which secures with a single fabric-covered snap just below collar. The coat is unlined. Designer's label sewn inside coat at right near waist: "Givenchy". Underneath label is a second label with handwritten notation "48246" This ensemble was made for the donor to wear to the wedding of Maria del Carmen Martinez-Bordiu y Franco, (1951- ) granddaughter of General Franco, to Don Alfonso, Duke ...

Description: Ensemble consisting of a coat and dress. The mid-length coat is of knit with a printed pattern of blue geometric shapes on a bright red ground, and has long sleeves and moderate collar with rounded points. Center-front opening with 4 square dark blue plastic buttons. Across back of coat is an attached belt of the same fabric, with buttons at each side, but does not extend around to the front. Fully lined in dark blue fabric. The mid-length dress is of the same fabric, and has short sleeves, a rounded neckline, and flares slightly to hem. The dress has a center-back zipper closure and is lined in the same fabric as the coat. Coat has a single retailer's label: "Lou Lattimore / Dallas" inside back at collar. Dress has slightly smaller version of same label, sewn inside at left of zipper near neckline.
