Description: Evening dress of orange/tangerine silk chiffon with cut velvet fish scale design in silvery white partly outlined with silver bugle beads. Sleeveless, with round scoop neck, and armholes cut to waist. Straight tubular shape with drop waist, with a swag of pleated self-fabric at left hip, trimmed with five rhinestone medallions. 1" fur trim at hem. Dress has been shortened and fur may have been added at that time. Probably originally 1918-20's style.

Description: Dress of black cashmere jersey and light blue silk zibeline. The black cashmere jersey bodice is halter style, backless, with single button at nape of neck and attached sash ties in back at natural waistline to tie at front. The full-length skirt is of blue silk zibeline, A-line, with black floral raffia embroidery at hem and up side seams in triangular panels. The embroidery is accented with black hand-beading and crystal bead clusters. Skirt with center back hidden zipper in light blue. The skirt is lined in light blue, and the halter-top is lined in a black wool(?) jersey.

Description: Dress of hammered pale pink silk/wool blend crepe. High neck with scoop front, empire waist, sleeveless. Bodice is topstitched/quilted all over in 1/4" parallel rows with stitches on front following the contour lines of the armholes and neckline on front piece. Back made of three panels, with side panels with stitches following contour lines of armholes and middle panel echoing the contours from the front of dress. Bodice inner layer of same, but not stitched through. Full-length double skirt with hammer finish has 4 center front tucks and back princess seams, flares gently; inner skirt of self has 4" of feathers at hem with 2" showing below outer skirt. Invisible zipper with hook and loop on left back princess seam. Designer label: "CHADO / Ralph Rucci" Size label: "10" Content label: "60 % silk / 40% wool" Care label: "Dry Clean / Only / Made / in U.S.A" With scarf of brown and white silk chiffon; brown ombre along edges fades to white center; 108" x 55". Description: Dress of black silk taffeta. Mid-length, with shallow boat neckline and natural waistline. Long, full sleeves are gathered into shoulders and into tops of wide cuffs, which have five cloth-covered buttons. Front bodice with bust darts and a vertical opening secured by cross laces through nine pairs of silver-colored grommets set with tiny rhinestones. Skirt gathered into waist, and has pockets at sides. Center back zipper with top hook and eye. Fully lined. Designer label at back collar by zipper: Mollie Parnis Boutique / New York Retailer label obscured by bottom hem: Saks Fifth Avenue

Description: Day dress of black silk taffeta. The dress, in the style of the Aesthetic or Reform Movement, is full-length, with a slender silhouette. The front and back of the bodice is styled of tiny vertical knife-pleats, which gather into the rounded neckline. The side panels of the bodice are plain, and there is a line of 14 snaps along the left side forming the closure. The long sleeves are smooth, with slight pleating at the padded shoulders, and they taper to the pointed wrists. The sleeves have 5 hidden snaps and a line of 12 domed non-functioning black taffeta covered buttons on each sleeve. Bodice and skirt are divided by a thin black band. Skirt is fully pleated with tiny vertical knife-pleats. Bodice is lined with thin black crepe. Label sewn inside at back below neckline: "Harbison / Vandervoort's St Louis" Not shown is the accompanying cummerbund of black taffeta, the waistband of large horizontal pleats with a large fan/bow at back with wide, trailing ribbons. (43" from waist to lowest point of ribbons)

Description: Semi-formal gown of ivory silk faille and light green taffeta. Below knee-length, the ivory silk faille bodice is sleeveless and has a jewel neckline . Arched princess seams from arm opening to dropped waistline are mirrored on back. Patch pockets cut on bias at hips. The light green taffeta skirt gathers to the ivory silk faille bodice at dropped waist, and has attached interior supporting structure of 5-1/2" and 17" tiers of stiffened synthetic organdy(?). The dress has a center back zipper with hook & eye and hook & eye with snap at skirt. Bodice lined in ivory synthetic fabric and skirt is lined cotton organdy. Designer's label at left side seam: "Tassell" Retailer's label at center back neckline: "Lou Lattimore / Dallas"

Description: Dress of off-white silk. Ankle-length dress with V neckline at front and back with piped edge and with long, lightly puffed sleeves supported by small pads. Hem and sleeves with fine rolled hems. At front is a wide, dropped, cross-over band at waist which repeats at back, the back forming a yoke into which the skirt gathers. Lapped zipper closure on left side. The entire garment has pleating inspired by the designs of Mariano Fortuny y Madrazo,(May 11, 1871–May 3, 1949) Acquired by the donor at the Fort Worth, Texas, branch of Neiman Marcus.

Description: Dress of red polyester silk knit printed in dark red with large abstract pattern of blossoms, leaves, etc. Street length or slightly longer. V-neckline at front with 3/4-length sleeves. Bodice insert with seaming at about natural waist forming a "cummerbund" shape. Skirt is gathered into waist at base of seamed area. Center back zipper with two hook-and-eye closures at back neckline. Torso and skirt lined in red polyester. Arms unlined. Designer's label at inside back beside zipper: "Adele Simpson" Care tag at inside right seam: "Dry / Clean / Only" Union label at inside right seam: "BCTX / 697925"
