Street length, sleeveless, with princess seaming and with a wide, banded neckline trimmed in abstract waved lines bordered in yellow thread and separated with applique circles of white polyester. Hemline has 7-3/4" band of trim matching neckline. Center back zipper closure with 3 hook & eyes on neckline band. Lined in pink polyester satin. Designer's label at center back seam near hem: "Countess Alexander / New York" Retailer's label at neckline to left of zipper: "Sara Fredericks"

Description: Day dress of bright yellow linen. Sleeveless with jewel neckline; contrasting, darker yellow top-stitching. Empire waist. Two paddle shaped patch pockets at sides with 1-1/4" non-functional buttons covered in white vinyl set in "handle" of each "paddle". Center back invisible zipper with hook & eye. Lined in bright yellow satin synthetic, with narrow band of pale yellow lace along selvage edge of fabric. Designer's label at center back to left of zipper: "Pierre Cardin / Paris New York" Care label at inside back below zipper: "Dry Clean / Only" Union label by care label. Description: Day dress with pink linen bodice and netted lace pink and green skirt in floral motif. Peter pan collar. Center front opening of six self-covered buttons, 2 snaps at neckline and 1 hook & eye where skirt and bodice meet; bound buttonholes. Three snap closure on center front of skirt. Four pleats on either side of opening of bodice. Long sleeves with 2 1/4" french cuffs with two self-covered buttons and bound buttonholes. Skirt lined in pink organdy; bodice lined in pink synthetic; under arm pads. Designer's label at center back neckline: "Chuck Howard" Retailer's label below designer label: "Silver Key / Neiman Marcus" With accompanying belt of olive green linen backed in leather. 2" wide and 34 1/2" long. Square buckle of self fabric. Three holes for sizing. Stamped: "14 925"

Description: Day dress of black crepe with yellow-gold print. Round neck, plain front, bodice gathered at shoulder seams, with sleeves cut full at shoulder and narrowing to zippered wrists. Bodice is blouson style drop-waist over short slim skirt. Skirt is topped by a single ruffle which starts at left side and zig-zags around, often going underneath itself. Center back closure of two zippers, one for over-blouse and one for the fitted dress bodice beneath it. Inside is fully lined with couture seams. Retailer's label: "Neiman-Marcus" Care label: "Professional / Dry Clean / Only"

Opening on front left, secured by 2 pairs of large white "woven" plastic buttons, 2 hooks and eyes at top, and 2 hidden snaps at middle.Capped sleeve effect. 2 slit pockets at hips in side seams. Yoke lined in dull gray/green fabric, body lined in a brighter green. Designer's label at inside back neckline: "Donald Brooks"

Below knee length. Shallow, wide rounded bateau neckline slightly lower in back. Center back closure of three self-covered buttons with snap and bound buttonholes cut on a slant. Zippers at left and right with hook & eyes. Lined in matching turquoise blue silk. Combined designer/retailer label on inside lining at right seam near hem: "Norman Norell for Neiman-Marcus" b) Camisole of white silk satin with turquoise blue linen side panels. Narrow shoulder straps of white organdy. Center back zipper closure. c) Stole of turquoise blue linen; 12-3/8" x 50". d) Narrow tie belt of turquoise blue linen; 7/8" x 62-1/2".

Description: Daytime dress of printed cotton lawn. Street-length of white cotton lawn is printed with stripes of grays and coral is sleeveless, with wide straps and V-neckline in front and back. The bodice is cut so that stripes are diagonal, meeting at center front and back and emphasizing the V-neckline. The narrow waist is slightly dropped, and is defined by a wide set-in decorative belt of the same fabric, with stripes running horizontally, with fabric-wrapped rectangular buckle and ends. The full skirt has stripes running vertically, and is gathered at the waist/bottom of the belt. There is one underskirt of cream faille, and a second of stiff cream netting. The center-back zipper closure extends from single hook-and-eye at neckline to base of belt. Bodice is partly lined with cream faille and has internal boning. There is a white grosgrain ribbon inner waistband with hook-and-eye closures. Designer's label is sewn inside dress, to bodice lining at left side: "Adele Simpson". This dress was a gift of the designer Adele Simpson and her husband Wesley Simpson to the Dallas Museum of Fashion, which later became the Texas Fashion Collection.
