Description: Hat of beaded, printed silk. The cocktail hat is of silk printed in an abstract foliage design in greens, reds, purples, yellows, white, and brown. It is heavily beaded, with small pale green square beads, oblong dark green beads, oblong and circular white beads, and tan flat sequins. All beads appear to be wooden. Cocktail hat

Description: Cocktail hat of black velvet. The hat has a high, cylindrical crown with flattened top, and a wide brim which curves downwards. Around the base of the crown is tied a wide piece of black net veiling tied to a bow at back. The veiling "pools" on the sides and front of the brim and extends down to cover wearer's face. The brim is lined with the same velvet. Crown is lined in black satin with an inner black grosgrain ribbon headband. Designer's label: "Givenchy / Paris" / "Made in / France"
