Crochet purse

Description: Drawstring purse of silver thread crochet with circle and flower tatted lace appliqués. Near top of purse on front and back are sewn-on single metal rings and evidence of second lost ring where the top border may have been folded down and attached to the purse to form drawstring insert. Description: Woman's black velour top hat. Designed after a man's top hat, this version has a cylindrical, slightly domed crown and narrow velour-covered brim which gently curves up. Heeled shoes

Description: Pair of black peau de soie heeled shoes. Slightly pointed rounded toe, with an oval openwork area at the throat of the vamp which simulates a buckle. Paper dress

Description: Young girl's party dress of yellow heavy crepe paper over white cotton(?). “Paper dress” is knee-length, sleeveless, with rounded neckline and wide straps. A-line under-layer of white cotton is overlaid by 7 wide horizontal tiers of yellow heavy crepe paper “petals”. Center-back opening with single tiny circular white button at neckline. Description: Nightgown of pale pink silk and floral tulle lace with under skirt of finely pleated chiffon; square neckline with 1 1/8" straps of silk ribbon; bodice is of lace with upper trimmed in silk; waistband of tulle set in pique stitch; mid-length skirt of lace with diamond insets that wrap around both sides of silk; 5" silk trim at hem with zig-zag where it attaches to lace; layer of pleated pink chiffon underneath; button closure at center-back bodice.
