Description: Raised beret-style hat of creme felt. Stiffened body of hat has a sienna/orange-brown grosgrain ribbon bow at top of crown, with tails of bow extending to sides, along front to edge, and trailing off of the back of the hat. The hat is surmounted by a light-brown plume of ostrich feathers. Inside of brim lined with black grosgrain ribbon. Description: Hat of flowers. The low, domed crown of stiffened white net is covered with green fabric and completely covered in large artificial flowers in shades of pinks and reds, with scattered green vinyl leaves. The hat is lined in white lace, and has a double inner hatband of black and of a silvery gold metallic rickrack. Label inside: "Henrys / Dallas". Henrys has alternately been identified as a hat maker and as a retailer.

Description: Hat of purple felt. The low, circular crown is mostly flattened, with a slightly undulating surface. Around the crown is a wide band of turquoise crushed silk jersey held in place by crossing bands of fuchsia pink and dark blue purple yarn. The wide, flat oval brim is set just slightly off-center to the crown, giving a wider brim in front than back. Description: Hat of beige fabric, with close lines of top-stitching. Styled as a modified, enlarged version of a pillbox. The crown is soft sided, somewhat cylindrical and flattened at top. At front right is a bow of same fabric, with crossing ends. The crown rests on a slightly "tighter" inner band, which shows at lower edge. Novelty hat

Description: Hat of gathered white net with small white flowers. Appearing somewhat as a turban, the hat has a conical crown of stiff netting which is completely surrounded by masses of gathered tulle net forming a dense "cloud" into which are placed tiny artificial white fabric daisies on small stems. Necklace - Banjara Festival Attire

Description: Necklace. Torc-style necklace of silver, twisted and with wire wrapping at ends. Rigid hook at front to connect ends, and with a single Indian 25 Paise coin mounted near each side of clasp, with pendant silver beads. Suspended from the ends, near the clasp, are two large triangular ornaments of silver openwork, from which are suspended short lengths of silver chain terminating in silver spheres. Coins date from 1982 and 1988.

Necklace - Turkmenistan Festival Outfit

Description: Necklace. Bead necklace of red and blue glass(?) beads strung on white cord. From necklace, via 3 large loops, is suspended a large horizontal silver-colored tube, with bands of flattened/soldered wire decoration. From lower edge of tube hang pendants of flat silver shapes, some small rectangular, some larger "bird shaped", each set with a red or green stone. From these pendants hand further chains and oval plaques. Tube opens at one end, is empty.

Description: Hatlet of navy blue felt and feathers. The low, oval, domed crown is made of spaced strips of navy blue felt arranged as concentric circles, secured to cross-strips, and with a knotwork interweaving at the back into which are secured a spray of dark blue feathers.
