Evening coat

Description: Cocktail coat of black, elaborate fabric of raised jacquard print, so high it looks like trapunto. Background is an elaboration of little swirls. Print is almost geometric. Roll collar, wrist-length raglan sleeves; set-in pockets (2 on front). Wide silhouette, flared, and about knee-length. Front closure is five large black snaps, inside. Outside for decoration are five black, ball-shaped fringe tassels.

Description: Nap sack inspired bag of black felt in cylindrical shape. Bottom half and side handle decorated in garden scene of felt appliqué and embroidery of trees, people, birds, dogs, rabbits, grass, flowers, cat tails, owls, and cacti; bordered in green yarn trim.
