Clutch style coat of floral brocade and blue velvet. The mid-length wrap coat is made of jacquard woven silk in a pattern of flowers in blues, taupe, and browns on a dark brown ground, with metallic gold stitching throughout. The raglan sleeves and the collar are edged in wide bands of shirred aqua blue/green velvet. Center front opening with no closures. The coat is lined in aqua blue/green velvet. No labels in garment.
Coat of black wool felt, 3/4 length, with long sleeves. In bands above wrist and two bands above hem are rows of knitted wool material in checkered patterns of cream, orange, grey and black forming an almost plaid pattern. Center front opening with one large circular button and loop closure. Long, shawl collar of black fur trim. Fully lined in light brown/copper damask in square and diamond pattern on upper part of coat and black damask in circles and squares pattern on lower part with connecting band of horsehair braid.
Dress of pink/beige silk chiffon with iridescent sequins ending in a V-shaped pattern at dropped waistline; back has V-neck with T-support; skirt has diagonal beaded fringe in the opposing direction of scalloped beading; short skirt; scalloped beaded hem; sleeveless.
Dress of sheer green chiffon; sleeveless; round neckline; knee-length; lace insets at center front and center back; dropped waist seam has two arcs in front and two in back; flared skirt with lace arcs.
Evening dress of black tulle net with black sequins, black seed beads, and black and clear glass bugle beads. Sleeveless with round scoop neckline bordered in band of clear glass bugle beads in scalloped pattern. Full length. Drop waist with scallop design glass bugle bead trim; scallop design repeated at hem. Lined in black silk. Designer's label at center back neckline: "Made in France / Collette & Lucien / Paris"
Cloche of pale green straw and orange velvet. Domed crown of the cloche-style hat is overlaid with orange/red velvet leaf shapes. Around the sides of the crown are applied overlapping circular panels of pale green braided straw. On the left side of hat a single straw panel is placed low so that half of it hangs below the crown. Inside of hat is lined with peach silk. Designer's label inside crown: "Dauphine / Paris / New York".
Hat of blue straw. The hat is of finely woven blue straw, having a crown styled somewhat as a cloche, high, rounded, and somewhat irregular, curving inward at base. The crown has several applied blue straw 3-lobed bows scattered over the surface. The brim is of dark blue crepe over a fine white straw mesh base (visible only from inside crown), the crepe also covering the lower part of the crown. The brim is set off-center to crown, with wider section to front and narrower sections at back and sides. Applied to the crepe are several of the 3-lobed straw bows and two bordering bands near edge of brim, consisting of thin woven bands of blue straw. The underside of the brim is covered with the blue crepe, while the inside of the crown is unlined. There are no labels or tags in the hat.
Folding-style fan of wood and paper. The plain wooden sticks are stained dark brown, with the outermost stick acting as partial guard. The paper leaf is printed on both sides, the front advertising Galleries Lafayette, with text " 'Ne Vendre Que Du Bon Le Meilleur March Possible.' / voila le principe fondamental sinclerent applique, qu a provoque le prodigieux essor / des Galeries Lafayette / seale Maisor au Monde dont le chiffre d'affaires annuel depasse le milliard de francs"; with view of seated lady with full skirt. Reverse with view of Art Deco-style lady looking in a hand mirror.
