A) Abaya (robe) of black polyester. Large, rectangular, almost square garment with center-front opening. Undefined neckline, straight across back, and straight down on either side of neck. Armholes at upper edges of sides. Unlined. Label at inside center back below neckline with Arabic script. B) Tarha (shawl/head cover) of black polyester net/mesh. Large rectangular panel, one edge of which has applied band of black with gold edging and foliate form along the length. That edge is to from the "front" of the tarha, with the band forming the edging to frame the face, and is sewn together below chin. No labels or tags in garment. C) Niqab (face veil) of black polyester with beadwork. Black velvet head-band/ribbon at top, from which hangs the niqab from three black braided cords at nose and either side of face. The face-covering veil is formed of a roughly rectangular piece of fine black polyester mesh, folded over at top to create a "flap"/2nd layer of cloth over the face. Along the lower edge of the "flap" is beaded fringe band composed of circular silver beads and dark blue tubular beads forming a "zig-zag" line along the edge. The under layer of the veil is roughly cut along the lower and right edges. No fastener, to be pinned closed. No labels or tags in garment. The gold trim on the tarha (head scarf) and the bead work on the niqab (veil) would not be seen on the streets in a city - strictly a Bedouin style.
Pouch. Orange cotton pouch, rounded at bottom. Suspended by gold metallic cord. Edged with metallic thread lace. The surface of the pouch is embroidered with various colors of metallic embroidery, mostly chain-stitch. Lined in orange cotton.
Caftan created from a Bedouin Thobe. The embroidered panels having been removed from the traditional thobe and incorporated into the caftan. Neiman-Marcus label.

Uzbekistan Wedding bag or purse. Cotton cloth, rectangular, with rounded base. Knitted applique band at top/opening of blue, brown, white, and gold triangular motif. Beaded fringe at top, bottom, and horizontally along mid-point. Body of bag woven with green, pink, gold, purple/magenta horizontal ombre stripes. Strap of woven yellow and dark green. Unlined. 5 ¾" wide x 8 7/8" long; 9 ½" long strap as it hangs.
Uzbekistan Wedding bag/purse of black cotton cloth. Rectangular, opens at narrow end, with triangular flap. Edge with white beading. Three compartments, one full-length and two half-length. All-over embroidery in lengthwise bands of green lines, red, orange, blue and green curves. Lined in black linen. 4" wide x 9 ½long with flap open. No labels or tags.
Jacket of tan leather in a sueded finish. Decorated with pink and blue machine embroidered lines and flowers. Two embroidered patch pockets on front. Trimmed with long, crimped sheep fur around cuffs, hem, neckline, and center front opening. Closure of three large hook & eyes. Lined in a short pale fur, the "hair side" of the leather the from which the coat is made. Label at center back neckline: "Made / In / Turkey"

Pair of shoes. Styled as low, backless slippers with upturned, pointed toes. Toe-box of striped cotton (silk?) with stripes of purple, yellow, orange, etc., with small diamonds of white. Stripes run from toe up to throat of shoe. The toe-box is edged in gold. Insole lined in orange. Soles of leather.
Antique chopine or clog hand carved of wood two inches high w/ top of platform decorated with mother of pearl inlay - three straps or thongs missing. Difficult to date, but came into style in Turkey and India in the 16th century.
Turkish festival costume machine embroidered on bright orange cotton. a) Jacket b) pants (chalwar /shalwar style) c) shirt (cotton, embroidered) white, tunic length d) Rectangular belt of orange cotton, embellished with machine embroidery in metallic threads of gold, purple, green, etc. in scroll, scallop, floral and vine forms. Lined with greenish cotton. Secures with single snap. Attached to lower edge at right side is small pouch, rectangular, with curved lower side, edged with metallic lace and embellished on both sides with similar embroidery, vines, scalloped lines, flower heads, etc. Center panel of pouch with embroidered character(s). e) Fez style hat of orange cotton, shaped like a truncated, flat-top cone. Top of crown is embellished with machine embroidery in metallic threads of gold, purple, green, etc. in scroll, scallop, and vine forms. Sides of crown with horizontal bands of similar embroidery, vines, scalloped lines, flower heads, etc. From off-center at top of hat is gold cord tassel.
