The cutwork is embellished with black jet beadwork. Louis XV style heels covered in black satin. Stamped inside one shoe in gold, partly illegible: "Kasson's / Knickerbocker / Cincinnati"

Wide brass lift lock closure includes 5 shapes of size 16 beads with repeating patterns. Lined in cream colored satin with two pockets. Finger loop of same on back side of purse at top. Maker's label on inside of purse: "Made in France / Exclusively by / Florentine"

Description: Handbag of glass beads of boldly colored shades of green, yellow, red, blue, pink and black in a somewhat stylized floral design. Bronze frame cast with floral forms and openwork, and set with navy blue and green cabochons. Roses on frame have remains of applied coloration. Suspension chain in rope form with spaced clusters of green and blue beads. Bag has looped and twisted fringe at bottom composed of green and black faceted beads. Description: Purse of cream velvet with design in pearls and gold beads accented with flowers designed in wheat shaped beads. Gold metal frame outlined in pearls. Snap closure accented with pull tab of four pearl pendant drop. Finger ring handle on back. Lined in cream colored silk with single slip pocket and enclosed double-sided mirror. No labels. Description: Drawstring reticule of ocher or gold-toned crochet trimmed with transparent iridescent purple glass beads.Trimmed with two tiers of looped fringe at top and three tiers on lower half with lattice-like design around middle and looped tassel at bottom. Chain drawstring through metal loops. Unlined. Measurements: 17 cm excluding fringe, 11 cm width.

Description: Drawstring reticule of dark brown glass beads on brown crochet. Trimmed with three tiers of looped, beaded fringe and looped, beaded tassel. Silk robe

Description: Robe of printed multi-colored silk satin. Mid-calf length, with short (elbow-length?) sleeves, the robe is styled as a kimono with narrow sleeves. Unlined. Neckline, 1/2 of the length of the center front opening, and edges of sleeves are edged with 1 1/2" wide black satin bands. The robe has a dark blue ground, with red, pale blue, pale green, and black arc shapes and triangles, and yellow, black, orange, white, and blue lotus forms. Unlined. No labels.

Taffeta pouch

Description: Pouch of navy silk taffeta with rectangular metal frame in leaf motif. Single chain handle; flip knob closure matching frame with pull tab of matching fabric. Lined in blue silk with pink and gray floral ikat design; single elasticized slip pocket; deteriorating. Built-in coin purse of silk matching lining; arched frame with ball twist closure; lined in tan velvet. Measurements: 12.5 cm across top of frame; 23 cm long excluding tassel.

Tomesode
