Description: Pumps of leather in a print of metallic brass, copper and brown snake skin. The shoes are designed with rounded, open toes, and with a narrow band of self across top of toe-box. The sling-back pumps have one long strap that runs from sides of toebox to behind heel, and secure at sides at ankles. Each with small rectangular gilt-metal buckle at outer ankle. 2 7/8" high continental heel is covered with same leather in a larger version of the print. Inside of shoe lined in tan leather. Description: Suit of red wool flannel with green and black windowpane plaid, consisting of: A) Coat. Single breasted with four flat, circular gold tone buttons and tailored buttonholes. Lower thigh length; long sleeves with 1-1/2" cuffs and one smaller matching button. Turn down collar. Two flapped patch pockets with large American "Great Seal" type eagles of applique in gold cord, beads, sequins, springs and vinyl that measure 4"x 5", holding arrows and olive branches. Eagles are mirror image to each other. Unlined; shoulder pads. Designer's label at center back neckline: "Bill Blass" Tag attached to base of designer label: "Made in U.S.A. / of Imported Fabric" Union, care and size "8" tags at right side seam. Bermuda collar and yoke which covers jacket front top, makes into epaulet-like treatment at shoulder, and sailor-like collar in back; geometrically shaped with white snaps at corners. Center front of jacket fastens all the way down with white snaps. Full-length dolman sleeves. Back has center seam and two darts which start 2 1/2 inches under yoke and extend to waist. Fully lined in white synthetic fabric. Designer's label at center back neckline: "Pierre Cardin / Paris / Made in France" B. Skirt of matching fabric. Slightly gathered into 1"waistband. Striped piping at all edges. Styled with round neckline and center front opening with neckline corners turned down. One round covered button closure at lower end. Long fitted sleeves with mock slit closure at wrist with two buttons. Straight cut bodice with diagonal welt pocket each hip. Straight hemline. Padded shoulders. Unlined. Faced at front opening with striped suede. Length: 23" (58.4cm). Description: Dress of pale green/gray polyester chiffon with woven-in satin stripes, and printed with clusters of floral sprays in green, purples, pinks, and white. Below-knee-length, with wide, rounded neckline and flounce of same fabric as ruffle around neckline. Long sleeves with ruffle cuffs of same fabric. Skirt gathers slightly into natural waistline with sewn-in gathered elastic band with two "string" belt loops. A ruffle/flounce of same fabric is around lower part of skirt, the upper edge of which is about knee-height at left side, and curving down to right edge. Center back opening with 5 self-covered buttons-and-loops above waist, hook and eye at neckline and waist, and a single hidden snap below waist. Built-in shoulder pads. Torso lined in green rayon. Designer's label at inside left back neckline: "Hanae Mori" Care/content/size/origin label directly below designer's label: Outer layer, 100% polyester, lining 100% rayon, size 8, made in Japan, dry clean only". Description: Evening jacket of black silk with sequin decoration. Hip length jacket with long sleeves. High, rounded collar with two hook-and-eyes just below throat, and center front opening with 9 hidden snaps and two hook-and-eyes. Neckline, cuffs, hem, and cf opening heavily beaded/sequined in gold and copper with small Paisley forms in green and blue/gray chain stitch embroidery. Body of jacket decorated in large blocks of overlapping sequins in iridescent purple, iridescent dark green, and black sequins. Torso lined in black silk; sleeves unlined. Description: Coat of black wool felt lined in cream wool. Street-length, with center front opening and no closures. Rounded high neckline, with no collar, but "corners" of opening flap open to form lapels showing the cream lining. 3/4 length dolmen sleeves with tapered extensions forming 7" "cuffs". Two slit pockets at hips in side seams. The coat appears reversible, but the placement of tags and lack of access to pockets from interior indicates otherwise. Designer's label at inside back collar: "Geoffrey Beene" Care label at inside right side seam: "Dry Clean / Only" Size label attached to Care label: "4" With accompanying black leather belt, with 1" wide sections at ends, and wide 3 1/2" wide "waved" shaped section at center back. Black corduroy waistband closes with 2 snaps. Two angled pockets at hips and patch pocket at left front with embroidered patch of male kabuki style face. Lined in yellow quilted polyester. Description: Ensemble of red/coral/dark rose satin. The strapless dress has an empire bodice which curves up in front at bust and is lower in back. The full-length A-line skirt is pleated into the waistband with inverted box pleats. The gown has a center back zipper closure with two hook-and-eye closures and two snaps on the placket. The inner construction is complex, with red grosgrain ribbon bust and waist stays with hook-and-eye closures and a boned white horsehair inner bodice which is lined with red chiffon. Inner structure has its own center back zipper closure which is behind outer zipper. There is an attached full-length red satin petticoat with horsehair hem and nylon net inner structure to support front skirt pleats. The skirt is piece lined in red chiffon. The accompanying bolero jacket is of matching red satin with all-over quilting in a patterns of waves and arcs in a red thread. The cropped jacket is semi-fitted, and has an open curved neckline and center-front opening with no closure, all trimmed in a band of red satin. Each of the set-in long sleeves has a (non-functioning) large, red satin-covered button near the cuff; the cuffs are trimmed in a band of red ...
