The cylindrical crown has a flattened top, and is encircled near top of crown by a turquoise grosgrain ribbon which crosses at back, with trailing ribbons. At front right of ribbon is applied rhinestone set triangular brooch with band of same ribbon. The narrow brim curls up at outer edge. The whole is overlaid with black plastic net. Part of uniform for Braniff International Airways flight attendant's. No labels in hat. Designer's signature in print, under flap, "Emilio".

Cylindrical crown with slight domed top, and short, sloping brim, both covered with same fabric printed with "windows" design, some with central images of drums, harps, guitars, roundels, etc. Two bands of same fabric are sewn under brim to extend down and back to connect at back of wearer's head to secure hat. Inner green grosgrain ribbon hatband. Hat lined in dark olive green fabric. Part of uniform for Braniff International Airways flight attendants. Label inside at hatband: "Adolfo II / New York Paris". Description: Suit (jacket and skirt) of heavy woven polyester(?) in a harlequin pattern of diamonds of off-white, brown, beige, and tan. Suit consists of: A) Jacket. Short, waist length jacket with long sleeves edged in narrow band of same fabric. Double breasted, with two hidden snaps and with 6 large circular plastic buttons at front in 3 pairs, each button of medium brown with light tan ring around rim. Princess darts for fit. Fully lined in tan acetate. Designer's label at inside neckline: "Irene Galitzine / Roma" B) Skirt. Matching skirt, knee-length or slightly shorter, slightly A-line from front, with flat front and with heavy, large box pleats at back. Description: Dress. Full-length sleeveless evening dress of printed silk. The bodice has a rounded neckline, bust darts, and widens slightly at hips. The silk print on the bodice is of horizontal stripes of black, yellow, green, and red. The skirt starts at a dropped waist, and is a slight "A" line in form. The printed on the skirt is of an Op Art pattern of pink, red, black, green, and purple squares and circles within squares, and with two large black squares, one on front and one on back. Black band at hem. The dress has a center back zipper closure and is lined in black silk. It has an accompanying black silk belt, 2" wide, with two domed buttons covered in black silk as closures. The dress has two labels sewn inside at back collar, to right of zipper. Maker's label: "Axel / of Denmark / 42" and second tag "Pure silk / by D'Este" [care instructions pictographs] and on reverse [care instructions pictographs] "Made in / Italy".

Printing is the same front and back. Center back zipper. Shoulder and bust darts. Fully lined with black silk. Round neckline.
