Combined designer/retailer label on inside seam: "Norman Norell for I. Magnin & Co." Union label to right of designer/retailer label.

Left side zipper with two snaps; petersham at interior of waist. Hip drapery with wide sewn in "belt", pleated at ends and closed with 4 hook & eyes. Unlined. Combined designer/retailer label on inside left seam near hem: "Neiman-Marcus Dallas / Traina-Norell"

Description: Cocktail or short evening dress of ivory crocheted lace over pink satin back shantung with pink self belt. Machine made lace of Venetian type with re-embroidered medallions. Dress with natural waistline, bateau neckline, sleeveless and slightly full skirt. Back zipper with hook & eye. Weighted hem. Has been altered at waist (cut) to shorten. Atypical of Norell. Designer's label at center back hem: "Norman Norell / New York" Union label on opposite side of seam from designer's label (most cut off).

Description: A) Evening dress of black wool jersey knit. Below knee length. Long, set-in sleeves with 5 functioning, circular rhinestone buttons with bound buttonholes. Collarless, center front opening with 12 matching rhinestone buttons and bound buttonholes. Unlined. Designer's label at center back neckline: "Norman Norell / New York" B) Scarf of black silk satin. Width varies from 5-1/2" at center to 9-1/2" at open ends. C) Belt of black silk satin. 3" wide with self covered rectangular buckle.

Description: Evening ensemble consisting of: A) Evening dress of black wool crepe, knee-length, sleeveless, and with jewel neckline. Center back zipper, with hook & eye. Attached belt of 2-1/2" wide black satin ribbon at waist. Side in-seam pockets. Lined in black silk. B) Jacket of black wool crepe with satin cuffs, and jewel neckline, and long sleeves. Center front opening. Jacket is completely covered in vertical lines of clear/ mirror rhinestones. Lined in black silk. Jacket has combined Designer's/Retailer's label at center back neckline: "Norman Norell for Bonwit Teller"

Description: Evening ensemble of red Qiana knit covered in red sequins, consisting of two parts: A) Evening dress in mermaid style. Slip style bodice with spaghetti straps. Full length, straight skirt. Center back zipper with hook & eye. 1" waistband with interior red grosgrain ribbon petersham. Bodice lined in red Qiana knit; skirt lined in red silken fabric. Combined designer/retailer label on inside seam of lining: "Norman Norell for I. Magnin & Co." B) Matching Chanel-style jacket. Long sleeves. Collarless neckline, center front opening and hem of sleeves trimmed with 1" border of straight-line sequins. Horizontal welt pockets at sides also bordered with 1" straight-line sequins. Lined in matching red Qiana knit. Retailer's label at center back neckline: "I. Magnin & Co."

Description: Evening gown of tobacco brown floral embroidered tulle embellished with sequins. Tulip or "mermaid" style full-length gown has spaghetti straps trimmed in single row of sequins and structured bodice. Empire waist. Center back zipper. Silk lining/attached slip. Cream grosgrain ribbon petersham at empire waist with two hook & eye closures. Stiffened at hem with matching tulle netting and horizontal bands of horsehair. Single label in gown with retailer and designer: "Neiman-Marcus Dallas / Traina-Norell", with "Dallas" in lower case.

Description: Pantsuit of cocoa brown and ivory silk crepe. a) Tunic style top with jewel neckline trimmed with 8 buttons self-covered buttons and loops at each shoulder. Long straight sleeves. Diagonal seam across the front with left side in ivory and right side in brown. Lined in ivory silk. Combined designer/retailer label pinned to center back neckline: "Norman Norell for Bonwit Teller" Handwritten style number tag at inside right seam, barely legible: "20831-570-8" b) Pants are harlow style. Right leg is cocoa brown and left leg is ivory. Zipper at center front and two hook & eyes on 1" ivory waistband. Lined in ivory silk.
