Bonnet-style hat

Description: Hat in bonnet style of black silk taffeta; rounded crown with 4" deep upward brim covered with folds of fabric with binding underbrim and lower edge of bonnet with gathered bombazine; large bow at front and back with silk taffeta ribbon ties; inside of crown is brown buckram; black silk lining.

Crinoline

Description: Off-white crinoline with spring steel hoops. Covered in fabric with white on white woven design of "H" shapes. Metal fastener at front of 1" wide waist band. First four rows of springs only go half-way around skirt and are tied around the body in front. Last five rows form complete circle or hoop. No labels in garment. Attached tag with what appears to be an auction lot number, "253".

Detachable collar

Description: Man's detachable collar. Outer layer of dark gray/black vertical stripes formed as very narrow zig-zags. Inner layers of same fabric, but with stripes going horizontally. Stamped on reverse: "14 1/2"

Gloves

Description: Pair of women's gloves of off-white crochet. Mid-arm length. "Dotted" design along back of hand and up arm. Band at edge with wider/thicker crochet work. Approx 13 1/4" from tip of fingers to end of glove.

Lorgnette

Description: Silver mounted folding lorgnette. Two circular lenses on hinged bridge, mounted on single long reeded handle with loop at end. Marks: "935" and a "G" in a sun-shape. Measurements: 4" wide x 1 1/2" open; handle alone: 4" long; Folded total length: 5 1/2" long.

Striped collar

Description: Man's detachable collar. Outermost layer of dark blue/black narrow vertical stripes. Second visible layer with same fabric, but lines going horizontally. Inner, unseen layers of white. With internal card? stiffening. Stamped on reverse: "461 16 1/2"

Wedding Slippers

Description: Wedding shoes of off white kid leather. Designed with a square toe and throat, shoes have a large ruffled ribbon bow with tiny metal buckle set at top of toebox. Edge of upper bound with off-white satin ribbon. The low heel is of modified Cuban or Louis style, rounded at sides and back, covered in kid leather. Handwritten note: "My wedding slippers" S.S.D.
