Description: Purse of multicolored Bargello needlepoint. The envelope-style purse is covered in silk embroidery in greens, blues, reds, pinks, black, etc., in the Florentine Bargello, edged in green wool. On one side, under flap, is rectangular section with monogram FH and date 1775 worked in embroidery. Opens to reveal 2 separate compartments, lined in green homespun wool. Silk embroidery is disintegrating to reveal canvas ground.

Description: Hat of dull yellow-green woven straw. The hat is constructed of concentric bands of woven straw mounted on a shaped, stiffed nylon net. The crown is conical in shape, flattened at top, and flaring at the base to merge into the floppy brim. Mounted at front of hat are two large artificial pink silk flowers. Unlined, the crown has an inner double-layer green grosgrain ribbon hatband, and is designed so that the hat "rests" on the head. Designer's label inside: "Sally Victor / New York" Retailer's label inside: "Titche's / Dallas"

Description: Cocktail dress of yellow and orange silk chiffon. Fitted bodice of horizontal, loosely pleated yellow chiffon has two orange, horizontal stripes at waist and above. Double, spaghetti style shoulder straps. Inner support with boning and petersham. Skirt is composed of under layers coral pink and yellow silk and outer layers of orange and yellow chiffon, creating a full appearance. Mid-length; zip-back and hook & eye closure. A-line with 3-1/2" self belt that crosses the front of the dress, enters into side seam openings and is attached to the lining of the dress at the zippered closure of the lining. Below knee length. Vertical welt pockets at sides. Princess seaming on the back. Center back opening with 5 self-covered buttons and bound buttonholes and two snaps at neckline. Straight long sleeves with 4 smaller non-functioning matching buttons and bound buttonholes. White silk lining. Retailer's label at inside left near lapel: "Palm Beach / Martha / New York Miami Beach" Evidence of large label removed from center back neckline. B) Skirt. Slightly A-lined with slightly gathered at waist at 3" waistband. Midi length. Left side closure with 3 hooks & eyes and 8" plastic zipper. Lined in black silk. Designer's label at left side of lining near hem: "Norman Norell / New York" Union label attached to left side of designer's label.

Center front opening with four large circular gray pearl plastic buttons and bound buttonholes. Fully lined with gray polyester(?). Designer's label inside below back collar: "Normal Norell / New York" Model number tags, handwritten on ribbon, 2 of them, stitched above and below designer's label: "Deborah / 818" Another sample tag sewn to outside of coat under left arm: "#53 / Debrah" B) Blouse of cream jersey knit. Long sleeves and high, mock turtleneck. Zipper closure at back, almost full length, with hook-and-eye closure at top. Neck lined in cream silk. Hemline is unfinished. Sewn inside at collar is hand-written style tag: "Deborah / 818" Sewn to outside of front, at hem, are style tag, handwritten on ribbon: "Deborah", with small sample of gray knit sewn just below. C) Pants in harlow style of heather gray wool knit. Full-length; wide legs. Wide,2-2/2" waistband; two slit pockets at side seams. Center back zipper with hook & eye at top of waistband.
